bruh its fiction. chill. People will obviously feel offended when you have an opposing opinion, especially when you comment it like that. I get why its weird, i thought it was weird in another story called "Love or Hate" but i got over it because i like the story.. Anyways, its kinda rude to not respect others opinions and still try to enforce your own at the same time. You are being a hypocrite. If they dont think its weird, fine, its whatever. I just say "cool" or nothing at all. Yes, you have the right to criticize, but you are just plain rude, to the readers and the author.
And if you comment on how your uncomfortable or you think something is weird in the story, of course people are gonna attack you about it. You can comment about how you feel, but you also put yourself at risk into getting in a argument. Cuz yeah, people have their own opinions and often mistaken it as them being right.
But yeah, get what you mean, but I suggest also be respectful.
