I only came back because I'm currently reading Guiding Hazard and good gods, I thought that the two comics were similar in how the author handled them but apparently, I completely (somehow) forgot the uke gets raped, like...several time?
Perhaps I blocked it out, and perhaps a lot of you all did too cause everyone saying how good this bl is just...how? The rape is out of absolutely fuckin nowhere, Lucaon just...what the fuck? Why did he suddenly decide to start raping Kyon??? I just don't understand. Maybe being older made me more competent to the absolute buffoonery that is Lucaon's character.

Like, yall, hear me out, people struggle with grief in a lot of ways and it takes a MAJOR toll on them and how they interact with people, but again, she abandoned her child all the way up to adulthood, no word ever directly from her, his aunt would update him on her, no matter the circumstances in his life, no matter what he went through afterwards, she NEVER contacted him.
It was never his job to do that, it was hers, and the fact that EVEN NOW, her stepdaughter is talking to him instead of her??? Like, why is this her job, hello??? And he has EVERY right to feel the way he did, granted we don't want him to resent himself but stopping himself from doing so purely only to please his mom, that's bonkers.

Something felt so off about the way that went down. Like, it's never guaranteed that relationships like this won't have conflict but with the way the mc and ml had dealt so far with their relationship and calm communication, this kinda came out of left field, at least for me.
I came back for a bit to see how things were going cause I dropped this and I read chapter 70 and that entire conversation of Caeser asking if Lee Won had sex with his dad made me cringe so hard.
I dunno if my memory is just really effed or smth but I could NOT even get through reading this, like I watched the anime and for some reason I do not remember it being as bad as this and the amount of people I've heard say the manga was better. Did we read the same manga??? Cause when I read this shit the rape took me tf out, I couldn't even. I dunno, I know the seme in the anime acts like a dick but I could take it, but there was just so much going on here, it like almost left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm blocking out this manga entirely from my memories now.

I expected another bride story where I might get a lil laugh and possibly some romance, not to sit and wanna bawl my eyes out at only two chapters. The art is beautiful, like, as an artist, I have now found another artist who I will definitely take inspo from.
