I don't see how a two generation old emperor's thoughts should influence the current ruler. Especially since he never officially appointed the yet to be born Oscar. Maybe some people who liked that emperor would want to honour his alleged will (as if 3 maids and a possibly stolen ring prove anything) but it holds no legal ground.
And also maybe consider the fact that a prince is meant to be chosen based on his accomplishments (which include killing the competition in some cases), or at least being the firstborn, so there's no reason to think this is good for the country. If anything it makes the old emperor look corrupt.

Regardless of this surprise appearance of "the banished prince" or whatever, Ceasar has completed and accomplished duties mandatory of the crown prince. Duties this surprise prince obviously didn't complete. So regardless of who he is, his claim to the throne is completely dismissible/invalid.
Also, the fact that he's inciting this uproar with the red head family (which was exposed for their corrupt ways, or atleast can be exposed quite easily at this point), he should be imprisoned for inciting chaos at such an important ceremony.
Take the legit ring from him and continue the ceremony. He should be welcomed in the royal family, if that's what he desires... but that's it. Give him some land and move on (〜￣△￣)〜
I don't see the problem with Ludis. She doesn't run or hide. She gets shit done. Just because she doesn't go around cursing everybody within her field of vision doesn't mean she's weak. And yeah she was afraid here and there but she still does what has to be done.
Yeah I will sit here and defend Ludis all day. I have seen terrible weak FLs. Ludis is not one. She dosn't cry or whine or sit around and mope all day she gets the shit she needs to get done as fast as she can. Why was the author so overly aggressive? They don't have to be polite or anything but geez. They kept threatening the uploader (who only put up 2 chapters) even after they agreed to take it down. Based on their actions you'd think that person uploaded their nudes or something.
I've seen a shocking amount of Korean authors lose it over a single English chapter, then do nothing when their entire work is spreading like wildfire on Korean pirate sites.
To be fair this is their livelihood. Chapters take hours to board sketch draw colour etc. It’s within their right to be super angry, rather than nudes it’s like their baby is being spread around.

She has every fucking right to be upset, she works her ass off making a story just for it to be uploaded illegally, She makes a living out of her story which helps her pay her rent or many other stuff.

I mean, do you guys normally continue to threaten and insult a person who has admitted their wrongdoing and told you they will do what you ask to compensate? I'm not saying they can't get upset, but that's just overkill. Especially in a professional environment. Imagine if when you got pulled over for speeding or running a red light the police officer started screaming at you. All that does is escalate the situation.
I'm not here to debate what moral grounds piracy stands on, just don't think that was a very good way to handle the situation.

Am I crazy or does the math not add up here? He said the emperor didn't get his reign legit, but how would he have done the ceremony even with a fake ring? The previous emperor would still have to hand it to him in front of witnesses. Continuing on from that, Oscar looks to be the same age as Ceasar, so are they implying the previous emperor secretly handed the ring to a toddler and then did a fake ceremony for the current emperor? Even if we say all that doesn't matter, why would they believe this nonsense over just assuming they stole the ring and beheading them on the spot?
The author randomly just pulled this out to extend a story cause its popular. We've never heard of this ring and what importance is it anyways? Still civil wars for petty things happens in the real world and I wouldn't be surprised that to protect oscar the previous king hid his much younger child... or the mother of child stole it
