I have been there. Honestly it's one of the worst feelings really. This happened for like 10 years and honestly it was just depressing lol. ( I was young and didn't know that I should find a better friend) I let her go after those 10 years tho and I am glad I did. I found an amazing best friend who values me as much as i value her and we both basically already know that no one is closer to us than we are to each other. So honestly I did say you should move on slowly. It takes time but it will make you happier in the future and you will be able to get a best friend who sees you as a bestfriend.
