Esse comentário é, assim, um desabafo. Assim como vários outros comentários que eu li literalmente agora, é somente a minha opinião.
Sinceramente, gente, é decepcionante ler BL hoje em dia. Eu sei que essa relação de desenvolver a problemática ou mostrar a “importância/intensidade” do amor dos protagonistas, construída em cima de abusos (seja ele sexual, por agressão ou por impedimentos de terceiros), não é uma coisa de agora. Se você ler mangás/manhwas antigos (de 15/20 anos atrás), vai ver que isso sempre esteve presente, seja de um modo mais óbvio ou subentendido. Mas é frustrante demais, e está se tornando cada vez mais comum. Eu juro que, de 10 BLs atuais que você lê, 9 ou até mesmo os 10 têm algum grau de toxicidade (seja com estupro ou um terceiro intrometido). Está se tornando cada vez mais aceito e normal esse tipo de “amor” e construção de história.
Todos os autores simplesmente estão fazendo tudo igual, desenhando e criando romances (se é que eu sequer posso chamar assim) que somente mostram que, para serem felizes, os personagens têm que passar SEMPRE por uma dificuldade, que o amor e o relacionamento não podem ser leves e, para muitos, “monótonos”. Os protagonistas têm que estar sempre se provando e sofrendo para ter um final feliz.
E, para mim, esse manhwa é o exato exemplo disso. Se você leu desde o início, já ficou claro que não é uma história que “abriria” esse tipo de desenvolvimento, que não era essa a proposta do romance. Mas, como atualmente não tem literalmente UM que não seja assim, que tenha uma história SAUDÁVEL (até porque normalizar que, para ser feliz, tem que sofrer definitivamente não é saudável nem normal), parece que a autora fez isso só para ter dinheiro, como se atualmente histórias sem algum grau de toxicidade não vendessem mais.
E mais ainda, vamos ser realistas: muita gente gosta disso, de histórias que normalizam esse sofrimento e abuso, que normalizam o estupro como se fosse algo comum e MUITO saudável. Aí as pessoas viram e falam: “Se você não gosta, é só não ler”. E realmente, gente, é só não ler mesmo. Mas fica difícil ler alguma coisa se, de cada 100 histórias, 99 são assim hoje em dia.
Além disso, vamos pensar um pouquinho. Se você é uma pessoa que está se descobrindo e não sabe de nada sobre a vida e sobre romance, e lê uma história que trata, por exemplo, um relacionamento tóxico e que normaliza o estupro como se fosse normal, como se, para ser feliz, você tivesse que aguentar um tanto de coisa e um tanto de sofrimento, porque, como você leu no manhwa, é essa a história que você conhece, é esse o amor que você conhece. E ainda tem o outro ponto, que é normalizar você ser o agressor, acreditar que tudo bem sair machucando e estuprando quem quiser, porque no manhwa que você leu era assim.
Isso pode até ser uma hipótese, gente, mas nós sabemos que tem pessoas para tudo, e principalmente hoje em dia, em que tudo é pela internet. O que garante que isso de fato não vai definir as ações e o entendimento do que é errado e certo para uma criança que não sabe de nada da vida? Eu, que estou lendo isso hoje em dia com 20 anos, sei que não é correto, mas uma criança de 12 anos (porque nós sabemos que a curiosidade vem desde cedo) vai saber mesmo distinguir o que é certo ou errado? Algumas até que sim, mas, novamente, sempre há exceções.
Esse comentário é para toda a história, porém é mais voltado principalmente para os extras.
Achei decepcionante, a história principal é boa, mas me decepciona muito que o cara não tenha nem um pingo de amor próprio, que autora realmente fez dele um capacho, na história principal da até para engolir, mas nos extras, ela fez dele tão capacho, que chega a dar raiva( porque não foi pouco tempo como na história principal, foram oito anos se submetendo a esse tipo de relacionamento, o cara deixou claro que escolheu fazer isso, que escolheu ficar e passar por isso ) . No geral é uma história boa, mas realmente é decepcionante como a autora não deu um pingo de amor próprio para o mc, poxa… oito anos aguentando todo tipo de tratamento e os sentimentos sendo menosprezados, tipo, eu sei que o cara amava ele, realmente, se você olhar o contexto todo, e a personalidade dele e tudo mais, ficou claro que ele amava ele, mas poxa, o que realmente pega é o fato de cara ficar sofrendo durante tanto tempo, como se fosse saudável ele ficar se submetendo a isso, sem nunca questionar ou tentar mudar alguma coisa, para no final ele só voltar pro cara que fazer ele sofrer. Eu entendi que essa era a proposta da história, que é algo mais submisso e tudo com um uke mais tóxico e abusivo, mas infelizmente foi muito para mim. Masss, tirando isso, a história principal é muito fofa, a construção do relacionamento deles, a confiança e tipo, o modo como tudo se resolveu é muito boa.

Let me start by saying that everything Im sharing comes from spending many years on this site, observing patterns across multiple accounts, and reading user reports. Im not the dev, mod, or admin but Ive had experience with systems which is why I can answer your “whys” and “what ifs”
THIS IS THE SITUATION
Jan19 - Bto closes
⠀⠀⠀*start of traffic surge to Mgo
⠀⠀⠀*some features have slowed down a bit
Jan24 - Mgo goes down
⠀⠀⠀*caused by backend updates or overloaded servers
Jan26 - Mgo comes back up
⠀⠀⠀*site is online again but very buggy: missing lists, random logouts, slow pages, no notifications, etc
⠀⠀⠀*this is when the system started gradually restoring lists
WHY IS THE SITE SO BUGGY
- Mgo uses separate parts for different things. One to SAVE your manga data (aka database/the memory), another one to DISPLAY your saved Manga data (aka UI/what you see), and another one for your browser/session data (aka cookies, login state, etc/this also connects the database and ui). When everything is working properly, these three systems stay in sync (eg. when you save a manga, it will show up in your list right away)
The system will communicate with Database, like hey this is the user that logged in go tell UI the things they should display. So Database will tell UI, like hey based on what's given to me, these are the saved data that belongs to this user, these are what you should display. HOWEVER, because of the gradual restoring of lists (which puts a heavy load on the site), the System, UI, and Database are not able to communicate properly, so theyre not in sync. This is why we’re encountering the issues
I DON'T GET NOTIFICATIONS
- since the System, UI, and Database are not in sync, Mgo cant correctly link your acc to your saved mangas so notifs dont show up/update properly. This is temporary and should be fixed when the system is in sync again
WHY DO I KEEP GETTING LOGGED OUT
- Mgo keeps track of your login/session info. But if this isnt tracked properly, Mgo may log you out randomly/repeatedly
WHERE DID MY LIST GO

WILL I GET MY LIST BACK
- YES. Do note that while your list is coming back, you might notice some things are off:

⠀⠀⠀*missing notes/summaries
⠀⠀⠀*only rated mangas showing for some users
(I can explain why but it will be too long for this FAQ. idk how to explain without sounding too technical so i might also have to explain the basic terms. You can ask in the comments if youre curious)
I ADDED NEW MANGAS TO MY EMPTY LIST, WILL IT OVERWRITE THE OLD ONE
- if you ADD NEW mangas while the site is restoring, your new list will stay. And your original list will be added back on top of it once its fully restored. But if you RE-ADD EXISTING mangas, it will update the original date of when the manga was added, tags, and summaries/little notes you originally had for it. its usually best to wait and let the restoration finish before making lots of changes
WHY DO OTHERS HAVE THEIR MANGAS BACK ALREADY, WHILE MINE IS STILL MISSING
- think of this like we're reading through a giant BOOK of everyone’s manga list, arranged by the exact time each manga was added (aka timestamps). Each timestamp is like a page in the book, and we read them from the oldest timestamps to the newest. Right now, we are reading timestamps from Feb 2022 (as of writing this post), so any timestamp dated later than Feb 2022 wont appear YET
If your lists are still completely EMPTY, there are 2 possible reasons:
One is that its about “activity”, not account age. So even if you joined in 2016, but you didnt add any manga until 2023, your list wont appear until the system reaches the timestamps for 2023. The second reason is, since the system is very busy right now, it sometimes hits a blurry page and has to skip to keep moving. This doesnt mean your data is gone. It just means the system needs to go back for a second run once the "main reading" is done
HOW SOON WILL THEY COMEBACK / WHEN IS THE RESTORATION EXPECTED TO FINISH
- how soon your lists fully comes back depends on how far along we are in the “book” and how many timestamps we still need to read. If yours already started to appear again then thats a good sign. it means your account is already in the queue and the rest should continue to come back (gradually, not all at once)
If theres another run, expect anywhere from a few extra hours to about one extra day. A full second pass could push it to Feb 4–5, but a partial cleanup run would likely finish around Feb 2–3.

IMPORTANT: WHEN TO CONTACT SUPPORT
- PLEASE WAIT. Do not email the devs yet. The system needs to make several runs to load everyone's data correctly. Most of the current issues should fix themselves after the full restoration process is done. Give it at least 2 weeks from now.
If after everything finishes and youre still seeing clear errors in your marked mangas, report them to [email protected]
If possible, keep a small log of your observations and what you did, such as:
⠀⠀⠀*whether you re-added, edited, or deleted mangas during restoration
⠀⠀⠀*any repeated issues (random logouts, missing notifs, errors, etc.)
⠀⠀⠀*the other specific errors you noticed
Simply put, keep a log of WHAT YOU DID/OBSERVED and WHEN (use GMT or if in your local time, specify your timezone). The more specific your report is, the easier it is for the devs to trace what went wrong. It helps them replicate your actions so they can actually find and fix the problem

2026-01-28 2AM: my list is restoring up to 67
2026-01-28 9PM: I added 10 mangas to my Already Read
2026-01-30 6PM: my restored mangas is stuck at 67

I had almost about 200+ manga/manhwa in my already read list but suddenly everything disappeared...i'm devastated!! I made this brick by brick since 2020... Has anyone experienced this or is it just me???
