What’s that manga where the uke thinks he’s super cute and adorable and he always makes paper cranes and stuff for the seme but then a classmate says something and he starts to realize that he’s not cute at all.
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/my_cutie_pie_an_ordinary_boy_and_his_gorgeous_childhood_friend_official/ should be this (sorry if it's wrong, i haven't read it)
Okay might be a little specific but a character who doesn’t wanna admit he’s gay but he’s absolutely in love with the ml and everything they do with each other. But he’ll like still deny it even when they sleep together??
https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/crossing_the_line_1/ try this exactly the trope u like
Any yaoi where it’s slow burn until they get older and start going at it like bunnies?
I think this is a good one

Why is there so much hate on You are my World, I think it’s peak… The uke is the toxic one for once and now he’s learning his lesson, ofc we’re in the angst arc atm but now its at the point where the characters will start to grow and im super excited for that. And it’s not nearly as bad as a large majority of omegaverse stories. I think their “complex” with their second genders is so interesting and I really want to see how it plays out

that's my personal take on it but i saw some comments share my pov so maybe it'll help
I wanna recommend my friend a good beginner’s yaoi, preferably full color and not super complicated. Any ideas?
throw them a curveball & recommend this

If your friend is already OK with BL stuff, and don't have a repulsion/ aversion against two boys being a little fruity, then I would recommend something like
"Killer Crush" as it's funny but still good and serious at times.
"1995 youth report" (18+) It's cute and has a bit 90s vibe to it.
"Run Wild/ SaYe" about two boys finding each other, recovering from their broken households.
However, some people are subtly having internalised homophobia and feel wierd about two men loving each other.(And go, "this is not how men behave irl") In those times you can recommend them something which has BL tag but still has a romance subplot thing and also has other stuff going on.
"The Summer hikaru died" It's also psychological and there's no PROPER romance even though the MC is gay, and his "friend" also might be queer.
"Global examination" Great plot and not just cheesy romance.
"Murderous Llewellyn's candlelit dinner" is a good one as well.

Where the seme knows the ukes body better than he does and has to teach him how to feel good ??
