Does s#x hurts for the first time?
Depends. Depends who has what and what's going where. Normally it's not supposed to. If it does, it's bc the body isn't relaxed and there isn't enough prep (foreplay) and lubrication. It's especially essential to do prep if it's your first time. A partner who isn't willing to do that for you, is not a good partner. Sex education is important, regardless of sex or gender.
Her Childhood (As Freya): She was born as Freya and was originally Grand Duke Kadrian's fiancée. However, when she was young, she was kidnapped, brainwashed, and taken to the enemy Tenasis Empire
2. intense brainwashing by the corrupt Crown Prince, she completely lost her memories of being Freya. She was given the name "Sia," trained to be a brutal shadow knight, and forced into a life of combat (which is also where she got the terrible facial burn scar).
3. The "Transmigration" Illusion: When she "dies" as Sia and wakes up back in her original body as Freya, she thinks she has transmigrated into a random stranger's body. In reality, the divine soul transfer just returned her soul right back to its rightful, original body
I think I need clarification for one thing. Was her soul taken and put into the other girl’s body or what?
Because how could Freya’s body still be on the bed in the magical 5th floor of the Grand Duke’s residence for years (before Sia’s death), and yet she was somehow kidnapped and brainwashed to become Sia?
It’s obviously the same soul. At this time, Sia just doesn't remember that she is the little blonde girl in her memories (as we both know).
The Truth About Arte’s Identity
She is the original lover: The biggest twist is that Arte is not a substitute for Dimion's past lover; she is his past lover.
The Memory Loss Plot: The "Darton lady" whom Dimion grieves and searches for is actually Arte herself. Five years prior, a massive conspiracy and a orchestrated carriage accident forced her into a coma, entirely stripping her of her memories.
The Family's Deception: The Tian family did not just "rescue" her out of the kindness of their hearts. They purposefully hid her real identity, gaslit her into believing she was a biological Tian daughter, and used her memory-wiped state to manipulate her. They deliberately kept her away from Dimion to use her as a financial shield when their bankruptcy loomed.
Dimion's "Glorious Regret"
The Misunderstanding: Dimion spent years in a volatile mix of grief and rage, believing his lover had abandoned him or vanished by her own choice. When Arte reappears offering herself as a "substitute," he acts cold, cruel, and resentful because he believes she is just a lookalike trying to exploit his trauma for her family's money. The Breakthrough: As Arte unknowingly displays habits, painting techniques, and intimate mannerisms unique only to his lost love, Dimion's suspicion turns into agonizing realization.
The Groveling Arc: Once the truth breaks wide open—revealing that she was an innocent victim who completely forgot him due to severe trauma, and that his cold behavior directly tortured the woman he swore to protect—the title's theme kicks in. Dimion falls into absolute despair and deep, torturous regret (the "glorious regret") for how he treated her during her amnesia.
Wtf??? Just how bad did he treat her for him to be so deep in “glorious regret” and guilt?? If it was just being him being cold, calling her unsavorable names, or ignoring other ppl mistreating her, it’s not deep enough for all that. Unless he abused her physically, rapes her, or kills ppl she’s close to…

But don’t people who get turned on by being beaten or choked often have a dark childhood involving abuse, rape, or violence? I didn’t know much about this either, but I’ve learned so much from reading manhwa. I guess it’s only true for some people? Do people who were abused in the past develop these kinds of turn-ons because of their experiences, or is it just something that happens in manhwa and not necessarily in real life? I really hope that’s not the case, because so many dark things I’ve read about in manhwa have turned out to be real, and it’s honestly shocking to me. I just hope this isn’t one of those things.
No, for some cases it could be. But I'm a living example that these are irrelevant. I would say it happens naturally for some and for others like you said it's a coping mechanism of like a way to gain back control. Plus real life is way more complex than any manhwa or manga.
