It's good that Jaesung acknowledged and acted on his feelings! With where Hoyeon is at in his character arc and his lol inconsiderate and brash personality, Jae knows and is probably going to get a whole lot of hurt and meanness hurled at him for his confession. Still, it's good that he's laying down his terms rather than bottling it up! One of his few moments of lucidity when he's with that guy ToT Angst angst angst is where the plot seems to be going, and a refreshing reprieve from the intense sex! Maybe explore Jae's chemistry a bit more with his coworker?? I just need Hoyeon to keep out of it maybe and spend time working on himself (tale as old as time with MLs).
For me, reading this is like looking at the dumpster fire, smelling the yucky smell, but staying bc the colors are so pretty. Very curious to see where things go!
I think Kimoto's current character arc sums up one of the main reasons I love this webtoon! Kimoto's actualization of his emotions is actually so stupidly profound, how his logicalization of his emotions is merely a front for his intense and selfish desire to be loved. Despite his efforts to distance himself from it, he is squishy and vulnerable and desires to connect in such a uniquely human way. And I think this kind of echoes the themes of the webtoon: the vulnerable and endearing humanity that shines among absurdity and mayhem.
BL got me philosophizing lol Don’t worry I definitely still remember the absolute experience that was insect sex :,O Stay freaky stay sane!
I love the tension so much oml ToT I love it as much as I want Na In to find his freedom and happiness! I just love how disillusioned and grounded Na In is, at the same time compassionate despite how much his environment begs him not to. Nth chance for Amon to value life and Na In's happiness. Nth time he's proven to just. Not. I'm sensing sexy time coming and I fear.
We love prioritizing the self first hmm hmm! Although wait, don't they all still attend the same college?? I'll need to go over what grade everyone is ToT Jiho can only avoid them so much TToTT The twins need to work things out, maybe talk to each other about their feelings and intentions towards Jiho. Realistically, however, the emotional blindness and constipation is likely going to continue with this kind of story. For the drama!! Plot!! Angst!!
This guy reminds me of Griffith ToT Honestly, if I restructure things in my head, this is an entirely plausible Berserk fanfic! Life is silly, good, and I'm eagerly waiting for the officials to come out ^.^
Oh dear, I hope the earlier translator hasn't dropped this! Their's was just so lovely to read ToT And the (most likely) machine translated stuff is so unpleasant TTOTT
Rest in power Grandma :'(( We are nearing a turning point. The twins need to make a choice on whether they're going to stay casual or be more serious with their relationship with Jiho. Jiho does not have the Time or Energy to go through all of that confusion. He needs to graduate! Get a job! Independence! Jiho is too considerate and selfless to pursue the twins, so it should be on them to Get A Grip and grow up >:OO
If the spoilers I'm hearing are correct, I hope the three of them can have a breather to work on themselves.
Tough update gang, I think I blacked out for most of it, morbid fascination and all that haha. Glad to know Kimoto and Garon (human side) are able to converse with each other throughout the mating. Curious to see what their offsprings are going to end up doing, even more curious as to what's going to happen to them with them at the brink of succumbing to their instincts. Also Kimoto's (bug) ability to turn others into "females"? There’s a deeper reading there, maybe potential plot stuff. But, uh, will ponder after I recover from everything.
This is so messy ToT Jiho is (relatively) too emotionally mature and aware for the twins oml. Jiho at least knows and tries to not test the boundaries he's set up with them- although him feeling forced into these sexual acts because they're housing him and whatnot is not great and I wish he's planning to let them know these feeling sometime in the future. Emotionally immature and manipulative ML are tales as old as times anyhow. Jiho's drive, focus, and general nonchalance about everything is very refreshing and it keeps me reading. Bracing myself for the mess bc it's only going to get worst!
Na In's isolation in Amon's world is so very stifling! Time and time again, Amon is given opportunities to empathize and relieve Na In's suffering. Time and time again, he shows that he can’t, and Na In's hopes and wishes, even if acknowledged and minutely acted upon by Amon, undergo this constant cycle of disappointment. Idk if communication is enough to fix this ToT but Gwen is leagues, to the point of being comically more understanding and compassionate that it's only the point to when and how Na In and him reach closer towards each other. I foresee lots of drama, hurt and comfort in ocming chapters. Very much looking forward to it!
Happy for the communication and cooperation! Good luck and much thanks to everyone involved in the translation and making everything presentable for us readers ^.^
To the translator of Chapter 17! I really appreciate the insights on meanings of the words that might have been lost in translation. Your immense effort is felt! And I also appreciate the afterword with details on current events. Eno Sumi's works are deeply reflective on modern society, and it's all the more fitting that readers of her work share that introspection ^.^ While the chapter is still up, thank you!
What an interesting read so far! There's a charm in the slightly awkward and stumbling way Akane and Mitsuhisa are finding the rhythm in their new relationship. Honestly, the beautiful art really lends to this natural, almost candid moments, how it captures the characters' expressions. Anyways, I'm buckling in for jealousy and more misunderstandings!
The setting, the atmosphere- I'm bracing myself for a whole lot of hurt and love :'O
Their relationship is so peculiar! In a good way, I think? Both Sigril and even Kay have their oddities. Especially Kay who, under the guise of a level-headed straight-laced MC, is pretty emotionally detached from others despite his considerate nature. Don't know where this is headed, and I'm not sure if there's going to be an cathartic realization of love and affection between the two that doesn't involve rape or manipulation. But it's still interesting! And the art is amazing! Very curious to see where it's headed post baby.
Oh dear, I quite love how nuanced Tae and Jae's sibling relationship has been. Even after a while of not seeing each other, there's no sense of awkwardness between them, even in the moments of silence. Crossing my fingers that nothing sours between them (although with how Taeui's personality is and the red flags that he tolerates, that's nearly impossible so thank goodness)
Whyyyy is this side story so saddd :'OOO Like, I'd flat out just recommend it by itself bc it's just THAT gut-wrenching, and heart-warming in such a bite-sized story.
I love this artist sm! It's a minority in manhwa to have a black and white art style. It adds to this higher sense of unease, especially in this kind of story where there's this tension with whatever potentially occult stuff is going on in the village. It's going to be uncomfortable, scary, suspenceful, and I hope our two childhood friends can find their way to each other soon (unlikely).
