Okay, Taesung is back, but why? Is the old man dead? Has anything changed? Why dissappear for months, if you can get back now?
The Chapter title said "finale", but in the end there was "continued". It is such a silly ending, because nothing is explained. Where was Taesung, why dissappear and why coming back now? Is grandfather scentenced for lifetime? Is he dead or did he recognized his faults? I don't get it.
My thoughts exactly
First: A Trigger-Warning would be nice. There are so many topics like ra pe, torture, drugs and suicide. The psychological pressure is hard to read.
Taesung has already harmed himself and he is blaming himself, feels powerless and helpless against his grandfather, so it is plausible, to end this. In his own depressive mind he is loaded with guilt, shame and fear, isolated and even if he took away the old mans wealth and got him into prison, he still feels his tight grip. Perhaps he fears his revenge, knowing what strings he can pull to harm his family.
But even if I do understand the attempt for suicide, I don't want this to end like this. I want him to survive this. Perhaps trying to end his life will be enough for his grandfather to feel regret. Maybe they just tell the old man, Taesung was successfull in his attempt so he has to live with the guilt.
I would like the grandfather to have a stroke, unable to move and talk, imprisoned in his own body and I want him to watch, while Taesung gets Haebom back, inherits his grandfathers company an wealth and the efforts and crimes of the old man would be worthless.
I am so disappointed. There is no explanation, no reasonable end to the story, nothing. What a waste of time. The last Season was utter rubbish. I skip the new side story. I will touch this stuff never again.
