Morality and practicality aside — this IS the thematic underpinning of the myth of Sisyphus.
The myth of Sisyphus centers on the absurdity of existence — endless, repetitive effort without ultimate purpose. Sisyphus is condemned to roll a boulder uphill forever, only for it to roll back down each time, similar to how the townspeople revolted against an order that trapper them in fear but also gave them hope to survive a post-apocalyptic world.

As much as I see the vision of these characters operating like this given the circumstance — I just don’t think the author has a proper vision of the storyline? It’s all just crossed wires imo….

Idk….what people mean by personality change, they’re kinda operating within their circumstances. Mokyeon has been pretty pathetic ever since he started liking Nanjo…this has only amplified with Nanjo deciding he doesn’t want to deal with Mokyeon outside the threesomes.
Adding to that, Mokyeon’s childhood explains the attachment issues and overall insecurity when it comes to relationships pretty clearly…. and Nanjo’s been a pushover from the very start, the only differences are now the iconic twink (he had some good lines I fear) is gone and Nanjo doesn’t have to feel humiliated or guilty for feeling good bottoming for an asshole lmao
In a vacuum it feels off — but within the context, it’s…..th natural progression of a story, in my opinion ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

When I get really detailed rimming, I mentally have to coach myself into thinking “yes yes these are just aliens with human bodies and a very convincing human environment, they won’t find poop in there — poop goes through another secret portal that men do not know” — like don’t get me wrong I love it!
