def naive from the start but rightfully so given how she was raised. in the novel tho her character development wasnt bad and she didnt turn out to be an insufferably weak n dense fmc. i think its worth seeing how the manhwa executes it further

i'm usually a big fan of soft-hearted, sweet fmcs, but i do love for them to have something more to them -- this fmc isn't it lol. in fact, i feel frustrated and annoyed at her actions and behavior most of the time esp when the story pushes onto you that she is just the most loveliest and purest person ever (lmao a few characters say this actually?). literally, one of her ''flaws'' shown to us is that she is just SO kind-hearted that it is just SO selfish and inconsiderate of her LOL. like, whatever man.

i don't mind her being soft. i like soft. i don't mind her being kind, but thrown into situations that are otherwise horrifying -- she feels inhuman to me compared to the two other girls.
mmc is kinda just ur typical stoic shoujo love interest. i don't really have much 2 comment for him. he's cardboard... it's like the author took two characters and just wanted them together so they made the story around them instead of it just developing organically bc the pacing is just fast lol; mmc likes her because she is so kind and selfless and special. fmc likes him because he's hot and tortured.
i think it's on purpose. this manga's basically like a twist on sleeping beauty. in short, it's supposed to be cliche and very surface level, where the female lead is very stereotypically naive because its basically a fairy tale rendition. but like a tragic one i guess. the fml does get on my nerves sometimes
