It may be shown in extreme detail but this is what neglect, abuse and poverty looks and feels like. Its everyones fault and no ones fault. Just trying the best you can when you were never taught how or had no one to rely on

Like why does it feel so incomplete? They go into too many details about business and their toxic relationship but what about the motivation that started this whole thing? Seongji and MC? What happened to Seongji and why don't they show MC being concerned about him? I am aware that he cares for his brother but I just feel Seongji always gets put aside... hes not perfect at all but the MC seems a bit too harsh and doesn't full say or explains that he cares about him (its important bcs seongji seems to be the one who has been physically abused and has been the scapegoat). The fact he was desperate enough to sell himself etc and keep reaching out to his older brother means he doesn't even blame him. I just think its sad and that they should really focus on him and seongji. Its not like they lack money after the estate sale so even with the shares mc didn't need to go that far and focus everything on that. All of his convos with seongji ends up being about the shares etc. I know its not the case but that it just seems thats all he cares about.
Also what about the dogs and why are there no side stories like what just happened?

Great art and premise. I just feel they didn't totally dive into Mieum and Jitae. Jitae being that possessive and then acting loving is not romantic... it just feels odd to how he was when he was 16. Mieum suddenly remembering and then falling in love when Jitae kept being horrible to him. I get the story but i wish they fleshed the love between them and development for Mieum being more confident and exploring the concept of resentment. Theres other parts the author ignores is Hajoon getting involved with drugs etc... I just want the pace to slow down and flesh these parts of the plots.
Also i don't like how they kept makiny Mieum look like a child . Like stop thats a grown ass man
Because im more interested in Jians story and Jin. Are you telling me that Jians mom basically trafficked her son (im assuming underage) and put him on drugs so he wont act out and try to take her place? So fucked up. Jin is also quite naive but you can see why.... im so invested in them
I ran here because i wanted to see how Oktu moves on with this new revelation of Hirose gf. Or I wander if we get Hirose perspective because the season was focused on Oktu's pov. (Hes a cute kiddo). I cried because it wasn't just about Hirose having a gf, it was him having to face a reality where he can feel rejected. Like his love cannot be accepted or shown to others as easily as heterosexual relationships. He couldn't just confess and be ok after it. And he knew all the time and just felt happy to have a crush on Hirose but was abruptly forced to face that reality. So heartbreaking but the cutie said he can still have the friendship he has with, Hirose. He knows that hasn't changed. Just seeing his hopes fall is just emotional . It seems like the anime writers interpreted their own story line for this manga? Can't see anything here
