I hate rich-arrogant-CEO-who-mistreats-FL stories, but this doesn’t have those vibes. ML is almost puppy-like, and the plot is an eerie amnesiac romance!

FL is relatable and level-headed, and doesn’t give in easily — and as for the ML, well I can’t judge his actions by human standards. he’s a force of nature who gains an obsession that turns into something resembling love.
As for the ending, I kind of get where my girl is coming from. What do you do when you realize the difference between hell and ignorant bliss?

this looks so cute and feels like it had a lot of potential but the story inconsistencies?? I'm usually pretty accepting of anything in this type of story, but this writing is too full of holes to follow :// the confusion just breaks the suspension of disbelief with every scene, like why is she suddenly super talented at baking when she didn't have access to baking ingredients at all in her past or present life? how come the head chef had all the time to waste in the kitchen when there's supposed to be busy banquet preparations? even small details,, like why is the kitchen empty when said banquet prep is so busy? clearly the people in the kingdom know how to smelt metal, but they use a bunch of twigs for whisking? and just the scene with the grandpa and the spirit, hiding the fact that the girl has a strong spirit from the grandpa for ~plot~ reasons. kinda feels like everything is too convenient and contrived, like i would accept if even any plausible explanation was given like "the mc really wanted to open a pastry shop in her past life and so always read pastry recipes but died before she could achieve her dream" or "her father taught her baking when she reincarnated" but no everything is explained away by "ohh magic op bird spirit gave this girl powers and everything goes in her favor" like mannn idk for me it's just hard to get into the story when the plot is so convenient for no reason. I really like the art and the premise, but the writing makes things too hard to follow, it takes me out of what had the potential to he a good story (〜￣△￣)〜 that's just my opinion, maybe the writing will get better in later chapters but right now it's just too nonsensical ╥﹏╥
The explanation about her spirit bird giving her the ability and the recipes is a pretty normal one? Like, most op mcs are op for dumb reasons. I will agree with you on the kitchen thing though, but I'm also going to assume they have multiple kitchens and the one she entered was one that was not currently being used for banquet prep, but a much larger one was being used for the banquet, and the head chef being there makes sense as he had entered that private kitchen to make the emperor a snack, the twig thing was completely like what? though. I feel like her hiding her power is a pretty normal plot point for almost any fantasy book, comic, show, really anything in the fantasy genre, the mcs power is hidden till much later, and it makes sense that she would want to hide it from the emperor as she doesn't want to stand out and wants to be sent home. The writing is not nonsensical, it makes sense, like it's nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done and is perfectly clear and logical
this is why i have one motto in life when it comes to reading isekai manhwas “don’t think, just read” so i can still enjoy it lol
