I can very easily see why people thought this was offensive. The white savior aspect of the mc “freeing” his captives was one thing, but to also frame it like he’s exceptional for doing so even though he was legally required to do it at that point was downright ridiculous. It is perfectly understandable that the author realized they do not have the knowledge, or ability to approach a story like this in a respectful manner and decided to drop.
That being said, as a black person, I am a little sad that this might scare off artists from making stories about cultures that are not their own(or white people) for fear that they might upset people. If I were to give one piece of advise, it would be for this author to make another story with people of color in the main couple, but taking place in a less precarious time and setting, just to get more experience and receive criticism without running the risk of creating something egregious out of ignorance. Then return to this story once they are confident enough to do it well.
This was atrocious and frankly just misery porn. The ml sucks and you think the mc has a back bone at first but nope he just lies there, takes it, then throws a pity party.
The plot is also overly convoluted but would be somewhat enjoyable if you could root for the main couple but at some point in episode one hundred and something I just wanted mc to murder all the men he came across and face whatever consequences come after.
Do not be filled by the high rating, this shit is ass.

The beginning of this gave me an eerie vibe but holy shit this is getting creepy. Theory; we know that Guwon is definitely not human or at least not of human mind, he acts like he’s been newly introduced to morals and sex for some reason, and MC does not know what happened to his dad. I think that Guwon is a zombie/ maggot who has somehow possessed a human body after having it stitched together like some Frankenstein, explaining the stitches and mismatching body parts.
And he is now trying to pass for human by creating a human society but is failing horribly because his sense of morality is still stuck in that survival of the strongest animal mentality. And I think he definitely has something to do with MC’s dad’s death even if he didn’t do the killing, I highly suspect he did kill him but maybe in an effort to defend MC. All in all, Guwon’s dick looking weird( I don’t think it does) is the least interesting part of this manhwa
Please smut is not a necessity, it was very out of place here and really didn’t add anything to the story except to appease the smut lovers. There are a million smut stories we really don’t need it here
