Okay we all agree this manwhua is not rainbows and has problematic things , but all that aside this manwhua is like an unhealthy favorite chip for me, I like it but in no way to justify the seme behaviour. It is one of the few manwhua that actually shows full mpreg , family domestic fluff.
Now going to the seme , he is scary since the beginning I applaud the author of successfully portraying a red flag character (this is how men who are controlling and possessive usually act in real life). If that was the author's goal then they did a good job however....I think if the author wants to keep them together they should create a plot where seme does indeed go through character development BUT on the other hand maybe also Author goal is portray relationship although has some happy parts is problematic because of possessive and controlling partner which really does happen in real life and many does stay in it as they have been manipulated or they think their family is too precious to break up. Like that is the scary reality of some marriages.
Also in my opinion this manwhua is also proof that contents like this should ONLY be consumed by adults and not children as through the lens of a child they might think they relationship is ideal coz of all the fluffy family content and through their inexperiences might justify seme's behavior but as I and many adults who commented (not sure if all are adults) who called our seme's behavior knows how problematic it is due to our own experiences in the world or through our maturity.
Hurts me when I have to take some gems off my 9.0+ list
