And true to life, he gets away with it because he is talented, rich and with enough connections to make his abuse seems like a normal thing. Garam didn’t change him for the better either
The latest chapter just solidified it. Heejae knew what he done to Compton - that sort of injury and abuse will drive anyone to hate piano. Instead of acknowledging, he probably felt pride of causing such injury and blaming his victim for choosing to leave. I wonder if Garam will find out the extend of Heejae’s past and what will he do about it. But at this point, Garam probably won’t mind being with him because as long as Heejae is affectionate with him while being an asshole and a bully to others because that’s heejae problem and not his.
