While I’m invested in this story I’m so tired of the instant tears and mc’s inability to not see how her self centered ideals of helping it putting everyone else in danger like occasionally she has a sliver of a backbone then it goes right back to shivering and crying. I think they’ve boned more than they’ve talked atp like one simple convo would clear this shit up omg

I need u to understand that riftan is just as much to blame too, while maxi is just trying her best to finally find purpose in her existence by doing things for the first time in her whole life- riftan’s overprotectiveness is just hindering her character growth. With that being said i still love the 2 of them so much. They are so complex they might just be one of my all time favourite manhwa couple

Right, and OP said that Maxi makes everything worse for everyone else but it's actually the opposite. Idk if OP and I are reading the same story but Maxi is usually very helpful when she decides to step in. This current situation is one of the rare times she's truly messed up but even then, this situation happened due to her father's manipulation and her trauma, not just trauma from her father but also from the miscarriage. Ppl fail to realize just how traumatic a miscarriage is, even if you don't realize you've had one, your body knows something is wrong and that'll definitely affect your mental.
