I hate what direction this manhwa is going HUHUHU I kind of understand why the ML acts like this. I'm sure he genuinely likes Yeomin now but he doesn't know how to show it without scaring Yeomin away. But whatever he wants to do to help Yeomin just feels so excessive to him, and Yeomin doesn't accept anything just the love he gets while being together. But Taeseo knowing nothing about that or that feeling happy without money/power, makes him actually powerless. He's used to his past partners asking for extravagant gifts, so he thinks without those Yeomin can just leave him anytime. That Yeomin doesn't need him. Now he takes the matter to forcefully make Yeomin stay which makes it worse.
