Damn,I just dont understand Mincheol's psychology.Like,I like a villain I can look at and think"oh,based on their life circumstances I can see why they would think that way,or why they acted that way".But with him I just don't get it.Like, what exactly is his thought process that he thinks that Na he soo dream life is working to the bone, living in a cramped room, having to take care of him and bear his emotional and physical abuse?I would get it if he was a psychotic narcissist ,but from the flashbacks we can see he was not,he was kind and thoughtful. And I get that people change, but I just don't get what could have happened to make him that delusional.Like, usually villains at least know they're being abusive and they make sure that their victims aren't able to run away or survive without them, but Mincheol is SO sure of Na he soo love without doing nothing to control her or to make her want to stay...like how does that even work. Was he betting on some sort of guilt from her part?Like he was sure she would not leave him cause she felt bad for something that happened in the past and he was able to turn it around to make is seem like it was her fault?IT WOULD BE THE ONLY EXPLANATION.And that would make sense if his only objective was to tie her to him.But he cheated and abandoned her,so again,I DONT GET WHY HE DOESNT EVEN THINK SHE WOULD NEVER LEAVE.I mean,it's one think for staying out of guilt,it's another if the person who tied you down is the one leaving
This is a real thing.. i heard once about a woman, her husband divorced her, thinking that this way she will feel like she cant live without him and that he is important Ans when he found out she is working and living well, has a boyfriend, he got angry saying that she used him This arrogant ppls minds work differently, they think the world revolves around them

I mean,I do get that some men think their woman wouldn't survive without them, but that's the thing with Mincheol and Na heeso.SHE WAS THE ONE TAKING CARE OF HIM.She was the one working to pay the bills and the debts, she was the one cleaning and cooking. So clearly she was able to take care of herself and he was the useless one. That's why I don't understand from where he takes his confidence from
what I understood about his 360 personality change.
-In high school, he was the most popular, intelligent and deeply admired by everyone in the school and old folks. Which it gave him a hero confidence. -He considers himself the saviour to Haesoo, he took her away from an abusive household and decided to use his university savings to build a home with Haesoo together.
-He understimated adult life. He considered himself a hero and he thought that without studying and working hard will help both, but once the reality touched him, he became more bitter. There are moments he said when he was a teenager "I can do everything" but that was just his inner narcissim which was covered by heroism.
- Once poverty knocks the door, the love leaves
-He wanted a child with Haesoo, when he learned that Haesoo was unable to have kids because of her weak body, that was his ultimate breaking point. He resent her for everything he considered "a sacrifice".
I think the real problem about having kids was Mincheol, I'm almost sure he is infertile and not Haesoo, but he doesn't know.
-He considers himself special, because he has still the image of himself from highschool. He understimates constantly his coworkers, He thinks Haesoo is inferior and a dormant because she was bad at school, He thinks he is handsome because everyone told him.
-He thinks he's the only one that made sacrifices but Haesoo always worked and probably overworking made her body weaker. Haesoo
He is a man. The majority of men are like him. Nice on the surface to get the ladies they want, and later mistreat them. He has always been selfish, and was attracted to Haesoo's beauty and poverty. He knows that she is very beautiful and most men with money want her either physically or emotionally. Think how he viewed her as a prostitute. Prostitutes are unfortunately victims of sex trafficking or/and poverty. Haesoo is extremely poor. So he bought her with nice words
