I just recently had a personal circumstance that made this story so much more disturbing. Literally had a male neighbor stop me while I was on my way up to my apartment for my lunch break and tried starting a conversation. At first it seemed like he was just going to be friendly. He went on about how he didn’t try previously because I always “looked mean”. But what got me was him saying he knows I live alone with my large dog. I don’t really socialize with my neighbors so hearing him say that made me horrified.
