Fuhen no Hikari
8.1
Not really a BL. But it was pleasant to witness a long term friendship between two older guys who constantly tried to understand each other’s perspectives and seem to finally get it. Very nuanced and subtle. Just wished the author would explain more why would they keep sticking to each other despite their vast personality difference: the “I wanna see what he sees” can’t fulfill that job on its own. Romantic attraction would be rather too typical and convenient so it’d be really interesting to see why.
Thundercloud Rainstorm

Straight seme in deep denial with a convenient plot trope. Almost no redemption arc.
Pitiful helpless uke X Shitty unsufferable Seme
Until Morning Light
7.9
The plot is cute but also quite superficial and convenient. It is annoying how naive and passive the uke can be. The seme just falls in deep love with the uke because, well, he is the one (guide). The writing in the latter half seems much stronger with lots of potential with twists and emotional plots, however, the execution feels half baked and quite anti-climatic. Perhaps the author toward the end felt like rushing this attempt of making a BL.
Look Through You

The first third or half was okay. But the latter half was really what interested me, although the majority of it was just smut (good fkin smut hehe). The plot here was nice, sweet and promising. The ending assured me that it was indeed not just a fling
Kimi no Tonari de Yurarete

So stinky cute and sweet. Could have separated the second couple into their own one shot but I don’t really mind.
Dead or alive
9.1
Woof woof arrrrr… woof (on my knees for Mr. Wolverine). It’s pretty wholesome and cute. Although there were one or two plotholes, the storyline is still quite cohesive, surprisingly mature and entertaining.

Rest in peace author-nim. This really could have had potential but thanks for your attempt
