I’ve asked a similar question recently but, I’m looking for a story where it is simply really well written and the author takes time to develop their story and their characters. It doesn’t have to be smut but it helps. I don’t like when the smut is rapey; I like when there’s mutual built up tension between the characters.
A couple of examples of comics that check those boxes for me:

Inner beauty (the relationship progressed kind of quickly n weirdly but it’s a beautiful story but it’s shounen ai)
Walk on water (the way the story is told is super good)
Love nest (it’s a manga but it’s amazing)
Dance with the devil (The first story couple is rly cute)
I also liked raising a bat but there’s a lot of people who hate the Mc so it’s kinda controversial ig

So, I’ve been reading a whole lot of yaoi because I find that there’s not a lot of well written heterosexual stories (not that yaoi is perfect all the time either).. but now I’ve read midnight poppy land on webtoons and I feel like there’s hope. Any one know a good heterosexual romance comic with good character development? It doesn’t have to be on this site

Hi this is random but I didn't read that yaoi "dear Door" because the demon on the cover looked like a deer/man and I thought "dear door" was trying to sound like "deer door" and at the end of the day I thought one of the characters was half deer and it put me off.
I only have one word for you 'lol'

Is there any male/female romance mangas out there that don't follow the typical clichés? Like rare finds where the romance is good, the female lead isn't too docile, and the male lead isn't abusive, and theres comedy? Something a bit more mature where they aren't afraid to make out and etc, would be nice. I feel like I am asking for a lot, but yeah if you know of any mangas like this ily
Looking for BL's similar to ones Zariya Renmaru makes, where the story is enticing and the intimate scenes are actually built up and have meaning. Getting tired of "omg i like him but he's a boy" "lets have sex now" and all the overdone yaoi tropes we know too well. Basically looking for good story, good art, and a lot of angst so if you know any i would appreciate it!
