I agree! I love shounen-ai and find it really annoying when people are like, "I wish it was a yaoi. Like if you want yaoi, read one. Are you reading just for sex scenes? That's kinda like you're fetishizing gay men. I also feel like when people refer to a character as a seme or uke and not by their name or another characteristic, it's like they are......   1 reply
