Is it just me or does anyone think the Patrick family will make an alliance with kayden because of the youngest either that or they'll be eliminated
I know it's so frustrating to see him still bend to Garams will, but remember he literally grew up alone, had no friends, barely a mother/father figure, and no relatives as he grew up.
Of course garam coming in and providing him with his first real sense company and warmth (sexual and platonic) on a regular basis will make him get attached to garam.
Plus garam is fucked up in his own views of family and allat, sharing those negative views with someone who understands loneliness and twisting his perception making him think he'll always be alone will stick, especially when he is primarily alone except from garam and his neighbours.
Take it like this, you see people in toxic relationships with their parents all the time, parents are emotionally or physically abusive, and children struggle to get out of the mindset that those parents gave them because of their attachment to them intentional or not. People in toxic relationships see the flaws in their partner and how its negatively affecting them, but they continue to stay because of seeing the good in them. Push and pull, do something bad but do something good and they come back.
Anyway this was just a rant

I can see where his friend is coming from, him saying "it's ok if you play me" or whatever is so self-detrimental just allowing this guy to keep leading him on and play with his feelings. Because they'll be together and it won't work out and he'll get hurt and run back to his friend shattered, so his friend being upset is 100% valid.
And it's like as much as you want this guy and yes hes figuring himself out that doesn't mean you have to do it with him, centering everything about you around him is crazy, designing your new cafe to his tastes, running around making sure he's ok but you can get subpar treatment, you're a psychology student for goodness sake shape tf up
