It sounds like you're under a lot of pressure to be successful and have an accomplished life. For my culture at least, that includes being in a happy marriage.
I like being single. So do my parents. They found more independence to do what they want. It doesn't mean they're gonna spend their lives in debauchery; they're just free-spirited.
