we've already on season 2 and there's still barely any romance between them and too many problem arise around winter. The MC and ML still my OTP despite ML rejecting MC. because i can tell ML also inlove with MC, i just don't know for sure the reason why he reject. at this point i really don't know how long this manhwa going to be. I'd rather read the novel, but don't know the title. it actually has been more than a year since the last chapter of season 2 release (in original korean release).
also idk what's going on with the art. season 1 art is especially breathtaking beautiful, i can see alot of effort put into it. while season 2, i see a slight change in effort, especially the coloring, it becomes such an eyeblindingly bright. (if you know basic editing app, you know that the coloring looks like when you maximize the saturation, that's how bright it becomes)

the mc is so silly and unpredictable, and you can't predict how and what will the story go next. i like both mcs, they're such a "green flag" is what ppl call it nowadays. this is an adaptation from a novel (121 chapters). the manhwa art is mediocre, it have this "lazy" art and lineart, the anatomy drawing also could be better.

this is an adaptation from 82 chapters damnei novel. if i have to be honest, the pacing of this manhua is horrible. its like jumping to one section to another while the previous one unfinished. although i haven't read the novel, i can tell there's alot of details missing in this manhua version. but the art does look nice.
now the pitiful mc, i do feel sympathy for him. all his life its been a streak of bad luck until he met leader. but I'm not happy that he did a rash decision that one time trying to leave the group (aka run away from a literal job that you have sign a contract from, which if you think logically, can actually cause much more problems to everyone and to himself). now, don't be calling me victim blaming and all that. I'm not. even if he's a victim doesn't mean i can't point out something, alright? he's not smart, so i understand. and his mom is in danger at that time. but correct me if I'm wrong, is it the mother who sold him to that one pervert guy? or is it the aunt family? so if its his mom, WHY THE FUCK would i give a single fuck about her after what she's done? now, this is just an assumption, i don't remember who sold him. also, don't get me wrong, i love my parents, they're good people. but if they did something like this to me (sold me to some fucking perv for the intention selling myself) i will not forgive them no matter what.

hmm..I'm not very happy with this "love rival" appearing out of nowhere. like, Weiyun is already the type to get jealous easily, so why the need to add someone randos who has a crush on Yutong? for story progress between the vampire boy and that crossdressing boy, I'd assume. maybe the author trying to pair up these 2 by using the plot of Boy having a crush on Yutong so he's aware the feeling of "liking somebody"? later on crossdressing boy might fall for vampire boy? also i call them vampire boy and crossdressimg boy bc i don't remember their name. these 2 new characters literally appear around 80+ chapters or smth.
hopefully they'll not disturb Weiyun and Yutong though. I'm just not the type to like the idea of love triangle or one sided crush UNLESS it'll progress the story between the main characters (for example one of them not aware of their feeling,so adding some character (acting as love rival) inlove with this unrequited love mc is a beneficial to the story. so that the oblivious aware of his own feeling. this is just one example). anyway, as long as this "crush" not going on for too long, its fine. I like this author work, after I read that Dream Boy manhua, I love the fact that series didn't have much misunderstanding, no love rival and its never a dull moment in that manhua. You don't have to relied on "misunderstanding plot" or "love rival" plot in order to make a story interesting. If you're good at balancing, pacing the plot, slow romance, likeable ,main characters, reader would love that more than using stupid plot device. but of course, this is just my opinion based on what i like to read.
