Rivalry
i think this is a first ever manhwa that has all those topic i hate (argument arc, (almost) breaking up arc) that made me not feel uncomfortable. I usually hate extreme angst, drama and argumentative characters and story, but in this case its necessary. And what i like the most is that they're communicating with each other, there's no better thing other than communication when it comes to relationships, no matter its in romance or not. and these characters being so different with each other, yet they can't help but be attracted with each other. This author made a rlly good job on creating these characters. Especially Dojae character. I don't want to spoil, but just know that you WILL hate Dojae at the very beginning, until his story were told and eventually we come to understand his condition. As a reader, I'm the type to want to understand each perspective and putting myself in their shoes, so i understand both of their struggle and sympathize. Usually in BL, romance and relationship especially, there's always something wrong and I'm unable to connect myself with the characters, because author didn't make a good enough job on it. BUT this author is different, they truly make it feels like I can understand them and why they're arguing.
at the end of creator's note, author mention that they did a long research regarding Dojae and mention 'mental health and disorder'. I understand why author didn't want to specify what Dojae is because author is not someone who is an expert in that area and wouldn't want to offend anyone that has the condition. author decide for us reader to open for interpretation and discuss on what Dojae condition is. I'll be honest, I'm glad author mention about this, because if not, I'd blindly assume author create Dojae character only based on limited information and don't know what they're doing with Dojae character.
[SPOILER regarding Dojae]
I'm no expert and I'm not claiming to be one. but the ML (Dojae) has high probability of having alexithymia and autism. Not my word, but many people on comment section (not here, but on bat0t0) having discussion about Dojae. Those users most of them are people who involve with autism or an autism themselves, thus why I'll take their word for it. And with my limited knowledge on such topic, I also think he might be autistic, based on his behavior and action. There's many more things that one user on bat0t0 (who is born austistic and has been interested learning about the topic for along time) mention that made me think Dojae does have the characteristics of someone with autism, which is why I take that user word for it.

Boukoku no Emanon
the story a nit too bland, but its not bad.
To be or not to be
I did not expect this to be such a good and satisfying read. its an adaptation from a novel so of course there's alot of details has been cut out, regardless, the manhua is really good. I usually hesitant to read manhua with that cover art, because it screams "toxic". BUT its not at all (don't you love it when you judge a book by its cover and end up completely wrong instead and then being happy for being wrong and stupid bc you found a gem) , the main character (Yuan) and male lead (Heqing) are both so sweet, so inlove, so obsessed with each other. Its a very slow romance, you will not see their sweetness at least 70 chapters. and where can you find BL with 100+ without love triangle or love rival trope? it surely is rare. this manhua and the novel deserve every praise.also i really like Heqing personality, he didn't talk much (man of a few words as what people would say it), he's not forceful, not a simp, caring, protective.
