I don't know when exactly it happened, but in one point the MCs fell out of favor for me and I started, subconsciously, rooting for their demise. With the appearance of detective in story, I have become so invested in his success in exposing the MCs that it feels he has become the MC in my head. It is interesting . I never had the experience of liking, then unknowingly hating MCs and still reading the story with enthusiasm that stems from a side character.

Yeah... honestly that's why I find it hard to classify most rofans as reverse harem... what's the point when 90% of the time the endgame is already clear? The "suitors" may help mc and even show a bit of affection... but only the ml, aka endgame, have real romantic interactions with mc. Even holding hands in a romantic way rarely happens and when it does is with them. The others? No matter how much the love mc they don't have a chance. While in the male centered harems... they flirt, show interest and give a lot of fanservice/pda... and there's eithe multiple endgames or left open with mc not choosing anyone is specific.
I know whe harem in both come from "multiple people interested in mc and mc being able to choose any of them"... but I still find it weird when the choice is that obvious from start...
I don't think the dullahans see her romantically... and I don't think the trash that killed her even has the right to be mentioned. The knight... also has reasons that are too spoilery to be interested and is not worthy too. Only the 1st prince and redhead are really options... but I understand your view.
Honestly the be adored by everyone happens a lot both in H and RH... and it's really bad when authors make 90% of the people surrounding mc the opposite gender and somehow interested in them... it's really annoying... I think the reason RH is less aggravating for me is because the male "suitors" are less annoying than their counterparts. And they don't keep crossing the line when showing interest. When you think about what female harem members usually do... it could very well be considered harassment... and I hate how authors use them as plot devices... they bring more trouple than help.

Yea they don't force themselves up into her until ultimately becoming an annoying presence to us readers, instead they ( Zenon & 1st price ) respect the boundaries she implicitly set upon engaging in all kind of interaction so far whilst keeping a steadily growing romantic feeling towards her at bay. They lack their own characterization outside of their dynamic with the MC at the moment that is true but again we're only at the early stage of this story, hope the author has all the liberty in the world for them to unpack each of these potential stories slowly & cooked them into perfection since this manhwa has me obsessed since the potentials are THERE oml
During my decade of manga/manhwa addiction, I have been doing my best avoiding harems and reverse harems. Never did I imagine I will end uo reading a reverse harem such as this one so diligently, without even realizing it is one until 20 chapters in.
