I don't know when exactly it happened, but in one point the MCs fell out of favor for me and I started, subconsciously, rooting for their demise. With the appearance of detective in story, I have become so invested in his success in exposing the MCs that it feels he has become the MC in my head. It is interesting . I never had the experience of liking, then unknowingly hating MCs and still reading the story with enthusiasm that stems from a side character.
The art is bad, especially that panel with horse like wtf XD
But exactly because of that I find it hilarious people think this is AI. If you have worked even a bit with image generators, you would know that AI cannot make hideous backgrounds and stupid proportions like this one, unless you try your best to prompt-engineer it towards that direction (which often fails).
So don't let ai rumor deprive you of enjoying this story. Let the bad art and sappy story to do it for you ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
You guys really don't have any experience with horses.
Height of the Shire breed (withers): 1.70 to 1.80 meters, taller than many men. Height of the top of the horse's head can reach 2.20 to 2.50 meters, depending on the size and posture of the animal.
The tallest horse of the breed on record was 2.20 meters at the withers.
Not saying it's not ai, just that the horses height is totally possible and accurate to some breeds
