I love Hajin so much TT His whole plan is so validated and he has the right to become that way. Ughh his story hurts me so much. Guilty as charge because he became my favorite over the leads.
I love how they didn't show a person who attempted to recover so quickly because as said people has their own way of healing and time or care won't heal scars faster. Definitely adore how they touch on themes of belongingness and isolation because everything really started because they failed to hold on acceptance due to differences. Was sad we didn't get a reunion on all the butterflies though ;-;
Psychological thrillers + some cannibalism
I really love the story's message and how it delved to self expression and perspectives of the characters. Talking about the taboos and emotional individuality of each. I also loved how fleshed out the character's relationship with each other (esp. how Itachi and Touma relates to each other). A little sad Itachi never really got to express her feelings to Futaba and in the end marrying a man who's similar to her. I don't know if I'm reaching with that but I see it. We also don't see Touma and Taichi figures things out together which was bittersweet. I was hoping for them! It honestly surprised me how the ending sprunged up and felt abrupt but this was a great read!!!
