I love how he’s one of the few manhua babies that didn’t get a 50/50 split of their parents appearance
I’m going to practice what I preach and stop reading this now because all I’m doing is hate reading and what’s the point of that. I’ll come back and read the last chapter when it’s all done.
Every chapter that has has a lot of Amon scenes with Na-in , I always think of that scene from the movie ‘Ghost’ : Molly, you’re in danger gurl
Regas is back
Bad news is, only in Korean
Worse news is, we probably will have to wait 2 more months for English release.
I’m all for the author milking a project, getting the bag, riding the wave of a popular story, all of the things, but this is just ass. The story ain’t it, it doesn’t play with the history. I stopped purchasing it on the legal website bc I knew they were gonna play that rape/torture shit. Get your bag, but it won’t be coming from me.
I keep seeing comments about the author clarifying Ian not being in Chicago. What’s the significance behind Chicago? Was Ian supposed to meet Jo in Chicago? What’s the big deal?
I don’t like her at all..I know she’s not a villain and a tough love parent. But she’s still a close minded ass. Yes your son has a history, one you’ve funded and knew about, but damn, do you have to be tough all the damn time. I just don’t like her
Novel readers: does Taesan have anymore plot points other than being pitiful? Is he mentioned again, like Jun ran into him in the future and he’s finally doing well?
Guys, I don’t doubt some of her rage comes from the bullshit that comes from being an omega and a woman, but she still sucks. She raped the king, severely abused her child, has hurt and killed many, including almost blinding poor Ben. Empathizing on one aspect of her life doesn’t erase her bs. Don’t be swayed just bc her face card never declines
I’m having such a hard time getting through this story bc the official translation sucks. Up to chapter 59, when the uploader started using Tappytoon translation, it’s off putting. Hats off to the fan translation, they did a better job imo.
And my biggest dislike about this story is the overused trope of ML, has it all. He’s got the looks, good parents or at least family that loves him, popular/smart/athletic without even trying ; like slacks off but still gets into a good college, everyone wants them, etc.. All the while the MC has the most miserable existence ever. Orphan or family that treats them like absolute garbage, debt up the ass , busts his ass at several jobs as well as studying to get a scholarship, or is just a “dummy”, little to no friends, no love prospects or being used by someone. I hate that imbalance. Who, realistically won’t develop some kind of complex that will eventually hurt the relationship, when one person is in the gutter while the other sits on the throne..bc it’s sooo romantic that the guy who has it all obsesses over the poor bum who has nothing, it I just doesn’t work for me.
Was for the BL “Love or Hate”, either team Taku or Joowoon (I was team Joowoon). And i feel the ending was as obvious for both, the signs were there for both but the fandom wants what it wants. 1 guy, two vastly different options but even when he was with the “better” option he never stopped thinking about the other. And I’m gonna say what I’m said back then, why do Jo fans want their fave to be with a guy who is constantly thinking about someone else when together, no shade at all to Jo fans at all. However you feel about it, when I was reading this I always got the impression Tj was always gonna be the one
I swear this better not end where Heabom tries to rationalize and be compassionate towards his kidnapper. I hate when the abused are always so understanding with their abuser (who is not the main character, that’s another shit show altogether), talk to them, be friendly and normal with them. He better not try to have Taesung understand why his grandfather did what he did, or try to humanize him. Months! He’s been gone MONTHS!
