I like slowburns a lot but that was lowkey an overkill. Building up crazy tension in chapter 9 to have quite the let down in chapter 10. Not even internal dialogue or self reflection was present.

Never said they should‘ve fucked or gone further, of that‘s what you mean. The chapter in general felt empty in terms of their relationship. No in depth monologues (or similar) that I would‘ve expected, especially after that cliffhanger from the previous chapter.

I‘m not even gonna focus on all the rape, but rather how repetitive Jinx is! Barely any progress, no character developement, vicious cycle (grandma > money > etc.) and so on.
Jinx doesn‘t cover any relatable topics as there are in BJ Alex (especially homophobia). I know Jinxs plot is certainly different than BJ Alexs, but nonetheless does BJ Alex perform better than Jinx in terms of plot overall. It‘s much more complex and it balances out the smut.
