I think the design of the FL Evangeline is so unimaginably beautiful, it gives me chills. It’s honestly peak design for me personally.

And I’m not just talking about her ethereal beauty, I mean even her horrifying presence and supernatural essence, it’s portrayed and drawn to be so hauntingly gorgeous.

I don’t fully enjoy her complete obliviousness to the effects she has on others and the world around her, it feels unrealistic—but I get a sense that she knows something is off, but is subconsciously suppressing it to protect herself—I mean, being transmigrated is already hard enough, so admitting she’s not even human would break her. That’s my headcanon.

However, the depth of emotion and intensity of perception of the other characters is incredible. The fear and reverence they feel towards Evangeline is so potently portrayed, that it almost makes up for Evangeline’s lack of said depth. Her airheaded nature is compensated by the intensity of the other characters groundedness in reality.

Overall—I’m excited to see where the story goes, and how they further explore the dynamics of Evangeline’s supernatural existence with the world around her, and the psychological and emotional expressions of this through the other characters.

I will say though…I’m not a huge fan of the dark, demonic, or religious themes and the crimes committed causally. I’m not a huge fan of dark fantasy like that—where we see the gruesome realities of human greed, corruption, and sin. It’s triggering asf.

I will always fall helplessly for Woman Knights/Dames/Woman Warriors, ESPECIALLY when they are allowed to wield their swords for their own reasonings, and it’s not just decor or aesthetic.

When she challenged that lady to a duel for insulting her homeland, I got chills. She endured insults and internal shame, yet could not endure a moment of dishonor. How lovely.

My least favorite parts of these stories are always the Husbands, because without a doubt they will diminish the brilliance of the Woman Warriors, reducing them to mere wives.

But truly, this story is refreshing. She is strong, yet human—skilled yet clumsy—powerful yet ignorant—Kind yet sharp. I enjoy her immensely.

She reminds me of Charlize Ronan ( if she wasn’t traumatized ) who also happens to be my favorite FL of all time. So I’m a BIG FAN.

Also—despite my earlier comments about disliking husbands in stories where the FL is a strong warrior, I do like her husband. Mostly cause he cares of her, and I personally like the possessive types. Though he sucks without the rose tinted perspective to be fair. I was livid when he failed to give her a proper wedding or explanation. It just have hurt to be objectified and used like that.

After 108 friggin chapters she finally discovered she’s the Empresses daughter, not the concubines. Sheesh, how dumb can yall be lol.

If not for the STUNNING artstyle, I’d be so done with this. But every time I see Luana on Pinterest I run back to this manhwa.

There's no such thing as a bad Mary sue. This term itself is derogatory slang for the genre or tropes so if it's Mary sue it's bad already. Albeit if you say good Mary sue that's different

only one chapter so far, but i like the depth of the concept. MC is inherently a typical noble, greedy, selfish, power hungry. And its enhanced and amplified by the demons corruption, showing how without awareness and insight on ones emotions, its easy for common thoughts to become wildly harmful.

And then there's this system that enforces righteousness, but seems to go based on unclear standards, kinda reflecting how societal standards and morality often have grey and blurred lines, and are twisted by perception and perspective. I also love how its essentially rewiring the mind of the MC, reflecting how often times, healing and growing requires a lot of mental work and cognitive restructuring.

True evolution comes from deep reflection, awareness of oneself, and commitment to one beliefs and morals. And I find it interesting how this system is essentially forcing the MC to grow and develop as a person. Normally in these stories, the system just exists to make the MC overpowered. But this take on the system, twisting it into a mental development rather than development of power or strength, is so cool to me.

I think that its an interesting concept which looks deeper into morality, emotional health and intelligence, the essence of corruption and desire, and the complexity of the human mind. It has the POTENTIAL to to compose a narrative on what "Good" truly even means, and the dichotomy of morality.

I could be over analyzing and inserting depth where it doesn't exist, but I like it so far and am HOPING that it blooms into its potential.

From what I have read so far, its a typical dungeon hunter trope, with the main character having "necromancer" like powers. The story is common, weak MC awaken and get OP. I like the MC, he's not annoying, perverted, or dumb. A bit boring for now, but 'm hoping we get some more substance from him.

The story is common, but good in my opinion. Pacing is actually good so far. The characters can be stereotypical, but its not the worst I've seen. They have some kind of substance. The fem characters seem good, not fan-servicy or overly-sexualized from what I've seen. ( which for a "mass-produced" Manhua is GREAT. )

Overall, I'll say it has potential as a good casual read. Battles scenes are cool, art is good, story is okay, characters have potential, its not bad. Hopefully it develops more and become more unique. Its better than some of these others I've seen so far, hence me saying it has potential.

( From what I've observed, the art style is not a carbon copy of solo leveling, but the main characters design is almost identical to Jinwoo. Too similar to be inspired by, I thought it was Jinwoo at first lol. I think its a marketing tactic to draw attention lol. But overall, the story isn't a copy, I'd say its not much different from any other dungeon hunter fantasy comic.)
