The plot of this novel, "Rent an Ex
-Husband Service ," is as follows: The protagonist (uke) wants a child, while the other protagonist (seme) is obsessive and only wants the uke, damaging his reproductive organs. The uke runs away for four years, using an app to have sex with other alphas while undergoing hormone therapy. Deep down, he has already forgiven the seme and hopes he will find him. Perhaps his four-year escape was also to force the seme to compromise. In the first episode, the uke, looking dejected, thinks to the other alphas, "I can't get pregnant." Later , during a hospital checkup, he also has reproductive organ dysfunction. His inner monologue in the stairwell reads: "I endure everything because I desperately crave something (a baby), because I've never had one before, so I want one." In the second episode, the uke shows a physical condition he hasn't had in the four years since he ran away, possibly due to the hormone therapy and his continued desire for the seme. In the third episode, they recall their sweet preparations for their wedding. The uke mentions that a house with a yard would be better if they had children. The seme's first reaction is: "You want children?" The uke blurts out: "Of course." But he was interrupted by the attacker, who said: "I only need you." After some time, the receiver said he needed some time and couldn't force the attacker to do something he didn't want to do. His inner monologue was: "This isn't something I can compromise on." This proves that the receiver has wanted a child since their marriage, but the attacker avoids the topic. The attacker thinks the receiver wants to leave him and start a family with someone else, and plans to ruin him, saying: "I should have done this a long time ago." Touching the receiver's stomach, he said: "If only you were content with just me," and while probing the location, he whispered: "(Reproductive cavity) It's here, isn't it?" In the fourth episode, back to the present, the receiver vents, saying he has never thought about starting a family with someone else. The attacker begs him to stay by his side. The receiver sees his domineering master in such a state, and is actually secretly pleased, then says: "Give me what I want (a baby), and maybe my anger will subside." Before that (before having a baby), don't dream about it. In his heart: "You'll experience the feeling of helplessness (actually, it's about not being able to conceive)." In his heart, he says he hates alphas, but actually, he helplessly likes them. The attacker compromises, using a position that makes conception easier. In episode five, the uke (submissive) uses the seme's (dominant partner's) clothes to build a nest, feeling safe and secure—all signs of his longing for the seme. His inner monologue reveals: "I've always wanted to start over." The seme picks up the uke and says he'll give him what he wants (a baby), and will try his best. The seme completely relents, content as long as the uke stays by his side. Finally, during the ultrasound, the uke smiles and says: "It's a secret." He's probably finally pregnant 5 chapters only
