The part with the kids was cute but the conflict resolution of the couple didn’t satisfy me like… wtf did Naoto apologize for lmao. He was probably just feeling bad about the situation itself and wanted to say sumn because he honestly wasn’t in the wrong in any way in this instance, and Haa-kun should’ve said more about his part in this. Seemed kinda brushed through, as if it didn’t even need to happen in the plot lmao. If anything made me like Haa-Kun less. I hate when “communication” really means both sides must make amends as if both did something equally as bad even if one side didn’t even do shit like huh?

I'm with you on this one. yes, getting jealous is somewhat understandable but hitting naoto where he of all people should know is his weak point is a real low blow. i wanted hazuki to apologise first especially for that but it's whatever i guess.

Yup, that chapter soured the “sweet but protective puppy lover” archetype that Haa-kun was written under to me so far. And this resolution chapter wasn’t the best. It was pretty much “ok whatever” lmao.

Idk why I keep getting dislikes for this opinion, maybe because a lot of people were so irritated with Naoto in the past volumes that they want him to be called out in any way lol

    GUROZINE April 9, 2024 11:49 pm

it was just basically a "back to the actual plot" lol. like let's pretend this never happened readers

hazuki needs to be called out once in a while as well then since we calling people out lol

RIGHT like everyone under this thread is so valid cuz it really left a sour taste in my mouth about their dynamic and I can understand Naoto as a character immediately feeling bad for what he said but lowkey he should have stood on BUSINESS like I wanted that argument to last longer than a chapter because that was some serious shit that Hazuki said :/

Exactly this. I also don't like how Hazuki can be insensitive during sex sometimes too.

It's a good reflection of real life issues. Masculine characters who have issues always get forgiven the second they do something good and they rarely apologise properly, whereas feminine characters always take their crap and apologise for things even when they didn't do anything wrong.

This repetitive portrayal is so irritating.

There’s a difference between saying “be careful” and victim blaming. What he said isn’t okay, and using “he’s stressed!” As an excuse is dumb asf. But then again, I hope most readers are just saying this for their fav yaoi couple and know FULL WELL that irl if their boyfriend says some vile shit like “if you weren’t so careless you wouldn’t have been r@ped” is a red flag no matter how “pEnT uP” with stress he’s in lmao. Everyone gets stressed and knows shit like THAT is off limits no matter what. I’m sure that teenage Naoto handling a baby when he was a child himself after an assault was MORE stressed than Hazuki is now. Dumbass could just speak like a grown ass father and adult, naoto was right to call him childish. Even if he was so upset he’d speak a bit angrily, it shouldn’t include PHYSICALLY pinning your partner and then victim blaming them lmaooo.

Y’all frustration with him hiding dumb shit for no reason in previous chapters should not justify claiming Hazuki being right.Naoto wasn’t right then, but Hazuki isn’t right now! Lmaooo

you answered yourself "if their real boyfriend"...

it is literally a work of fiction and if some grown ass adult cannot sperate fiction from reality then they shouldn't be reading this work in the first place.

U know that sometimes in the heat of the moment hard stuff like that does slip up because it's always at the back of your mind. Or maybe I need to surround myself with better people

Yeah even if people say things they don’t mean, it’s usually them not being fully convey what they WANT to say. And I’d definitely side eye someone who’s “thing they didn’t mean to say” went too far, like straight bigotry or victim blaming. Like you’d have to be REALLY an a-hole to go straight to “and that’s why u got r@ped!” over simple jealousy because huh????!

Like damn, in a hypothetical situation like that irl they must’ve really had that on their mind even when they WERENT upset and really believed that fr because how could your brain go there??? And if they didn’t believe it they Must’ve really wanted to hurt the other person no matter what, even if it meant severing the relationship
