Ahh I'm happy this one is getting updated, I didn't catch his name in the korean raws so I've been calling him Atsumu the whole time.
This manwha looks nice to me, actual adults with adult lives and reactions, it doesn't take them an eternity to apologize or admit they're into each other (well for Angel at least, but the lawyer's demeanor is understandable with his past failed engagement).
And unlike some I'm very glad Angel isn't a cliché bottom blushing and stuttering every two seconds. I love him carefree and sweet like he is rn.
Ok so I've read it in one go to understand what the hype was about. Obviously I've heard of the love triangle stuff but this was like the least of my worries while reading? Of course Jo is sweet and the better guy but Ian is out here saying he'll kill everyone and leave lol scar face might be right when he says he's the only one who can handle him idk.
Anyway I love Ian's Memento Mori tattoos on his chest because these guys gotta indeed remember they'll die a stupid death, especially Jo by involving himself, he's lucky he only hurt his fingers so far.
The fact that Dan is leaving because he feels incompetent and not disrespected is rubbing me off but well it's his character. He needs to build real confidence asap with his grandma by his side, nice friends and a job where he's valued and safe after this whole jaekyung fiasco.
Agree! People are celebrating that Dan finally leave Jaekyung but I don't feel satisfied with the change because both his mentality and resolve feels weak. It all boils down to his own tendency to blame himself, there's no character development at all despite the chapters already reaching 50+.
I understand that the author is *probably* trying to paint Dan as a kind character as a way to make Jaekyung change (possibly) but just because someone is kind, doesn't mean they will let people walk over them. I'm kinda tired seeing this trope because it perpetuates the idea that kind people are fragile ones with no backbone to stand up for themselves.
Sure, some people might change because of your act of kidness but some people are too far beyond help so it's still a 50/50 situation.
Don't get me wrong, I'm open to learn about the diversity of people's character but this trope is getting repetitive. It's not wrong to write such character, it's just getting boring for me.
Okay, sorry for the long ass essay.
This manwha is a gem omg. Dowon has to be the best bl character to ever exist on top of being the funniest, and him and Beom make a wholesome couple, they're so precious to me.
