There is nothing wrong with being Team Yahwii or Team Cain, it's your preference. But some of yall are getting overly defensive and having a whole bitch fit in the comments. WE ALL KNOW FOR A FACT THAT YAHWII HAS A HORRIBLE PEROSNALITIY and needs to learn how to express his feelings more lovingly. And we all know that if Cain wasn't a pure character or wasn't even in the story, the majority of us would of supported Yahwii and hope for character development. That's how all the stories like this one goes. Then, the rest of yall would be like oh you guys are disgusting, why would you support such a person!! Stop acting like these are real-life situations, it's a story and we can always hope for character development because we recognize the bad qualities of that person. Nobody is condoning rape and harassment, stop dragging it. Also, if you can't handle stories with toxicity, which in my opinion makes it a whole lot more intriguing and wishing to know more each chapter, it is okay to drop the story. Can anyone explain to me how the same tropes are supposed to be intriguing and refreshing? What's more something has gone horribly wrong when ML is hated by the majority (among west fans at least). Because there is barely anything likable about him beside his face and pseudo character development won't change the fact that he raped and treated supposed love interest like a trash.
I wouldn't insult anyone for shipping Yahwi and Jooin but would never support them even if they were the only characters in this story because their relationship is toxic, flat and shallow, full of power imbalance etc.
Oh but there are a lot of people arguing that Yahwi didn't rape Join or belittling his crimes. Unfortunately rape is a real life topic so it's obvious people will get uncomfortable with how other readers try to justify, excuse rapist's actions. Well I find it interesting because it develops a good plot and has more than a minor issue in the story. Honestly, most of the love stories I see that are pure are just filled with sex, then they will have an argument or two; so I just don't as interesting. Matter of fact most yaoi stories are just sex, no plot in my opinion. So, if it's triggering to you and you don't like it, just drop the story as I said. I agree with you on some points though.

Tbh I, myself don't find the plot particularly good. And the whole theme is very repetitive "Painter of the nigh", "Kiss my liar", "BJ Alex", "Caste heaven" and hundreds other titles with the similar trope.
