The other saintess is one of the most stupid villainesses I have ever seen.
She can't even get her priority straight and decide if her survival is more important or being in the center of attention for the next 6 months.
She just has to keep quiet and let the otherwordler stand out and get chosen as the sacrifice and fame and glory would be all hers afterward ...

How often have they sacrificed otherworldly saintesses? One every year?
I mean the sacrifice loads the white crystal, which powers the barrier and summons another saintess. The saintess is taught how to use her powers for one year and is then sacrificed.
Or does the crystal store that power for several years before the next summoning has to take place?
If we take into account that nobody except the upper echelon knows about the sacrifices the latter seems more plausible because the people would notice if every white saintess has only a lifespan of one year after ascending to her post, if that would happen frequently, but if it only happens once or twice in a lifetime they may not notice.

I feel like the population should of noticed by now if it was every so many years because they would tell stories of how the saintess dying to protect them. Maybe not the entire commoner people, but at least some of them might have caught on since anyone who did any sort of good deed or a great fighter had bards write and sing about those types of tales. But then again we have people in our world who have no idea where food comes from other than a grocery store or that octopi are actually a real species of animal.

I know birth order is still quite important in Asia, but how the heck do they all know if a new sibling is an older brother/sister or a younger one?

    Ubung August 6, 2026 11:21 pm

From their name. Daddy Kazuhiro, kazu literally mean number,
    - Hajime meaning start, sometimes using kanji one
    - Gil read as jiiru=ji=two
    - Mishra=mi=three
    - Roberto=roku=six
    - Isaac I assume from irebun=eleven or just i=ichi=one since first already taken by Hajime only eleven left
    -and this dwarf is Toko=tou=ten.

It's simple if you understand japanese lol

Huh. I really thought Roberto was the oldest sibling. I guess this makes Toko their younger sister then?

Same question since he looks older than Gil lol
But the narrator already confirmed Hajime is eldest I think during vampire dude introduction?
Yes, she's the second youngest since the last person should be ex-wife not children. If my theories correct only 4th, 7th, 8th siblings left.

Really? That bit of info did not stick with me. I'll have reread the manga sooner than later! Thank you for the educational comment. I can't wait to see if your theory is right.

I love how Turans hairstyle changes with every arc. In most stories the MCs look the same trough the whole plot, or at most they have a new outfit.

Has anyone a link for the missing chapters at the beginning?

Phnixrot April 12, 2026 1:29 am

It looks like the younger sister is either a reincarnation of the "child of the demon" or at least heavenly influenced by it, because just like in the fairytale she covets what isn't hers without ever being satisfied. And just like in the fairytale she won't ever be able to use any kind of magic.

The mother seems to somehow grasp what's going on, but she is much too worn out to bother to interfere.

Finally, the father is only interested in the money and fame that would come his way for being the saint's father. Otherwise, he doesn't seem to care about his family at all.
And just like the younger daughter he seems to be incapable of listening to others, even if his life depended on that. He and his youngest daughter are probably the only ones who don't know, that you can't use magic with a stolen blessing.

The ball scene at chapters 7 & 8 was somehow badly carried out.
I mean the king himself proclaimed the marriage between his brother and the urgently needed saintess from another world, and that dukes daughter and her minion really think they can change the kings decree by shaming the saintess publicly afterward?

The girl running towards mc got me

    Phnixrot April 18, 2026 4:25 am

Yeah, it was the most obvious wine spilling accident scene, I have ever seen in a manga.

Phnixrot April 7, 2026 8:09 pm

Chapter 2 and 3 are missing parts, has anyone a link to read the rest?

Phnixrot March 31, 2026 12:52 am

I always wonder in this kind of story, how the ignorant relatives (stepmother and halfsister) did not mess up earlier.
Even if MC did all the work behind the scenes, if they don't even know the motto of the party of the guests names how did they survive the parties without anybody noticing their incompetence?

Phnixrot March 21, 2026 10:11 pm

The backstory of the children was already sad enough, was there really a need to destroy the mom's and grandparents' souls for the 3 to be able to reincarnate together?
