I don’t think FL’s brother meant to kill her the first life. I think he js wanted her to be in prison and like keep her captive. I’m guessing that he was gonna like pardon her or smth so she wouldn’t get executed but instead have a lifetime in prison, but the FL ran away or smth. Wait idk if she ran away, if she was exiled then he prob expected her to some crying asking him for help ykwim.
