What was the mother planning by bringing this guy home? Was he supposed to be some useful tool to help her daughter succeed the company after her death or something? Maybe she wanted a father figure to shield her daughter from shady men or greedy relatives? Or did she think her daughter was lonely without a father?
But seriously, was it really necessary for her to sleep with a guy who’s basically the same age as her daughter? Especially when she knew her daughter used to toy with him when they were little and might even have feelings for him?
Maybe the mother knew the boy also liked her daughter and would stay loyal to her and support her in the future.
The mother is disgusting, honestly. And the ML is pathetic too, begging an older woman not to abandon him just to solve his debt problems. The least he could do is stay loyal to the woman who paid off his debts, but instead he develops feelings for the MC? And even acts on them? Ugh…
The smut is good though.
Anyway, I’m mostly here to figure out what that old hag—who’s sleeping with a man young enough to be her son—is actually planning. Does she have a terminal illness or something?

Chapter 28 is really satisfying since the plot is progressing a lot. I wish both Jinwoo and Guwon luck. Jinwoo is going to become one of the hounds—I can’t believe I didn’t realize that earlier from the title of the webtoon. I guess this is where the plot thickens, and we’ll finally get to see the hounds, which are the central focus of the story, especially since the title is The Hounds of Sisyphus.
There are a few mysteries for me:
1.Guwon’s true identity (My guess is that he was a test subject for human immortality mentioned in the first chapter, although I’m not sure.)
2.Does Jinwoo really have reliable memories? (I wonder if the true cause of his killing intent toward Guwon during his sleepwalking is because he believes Guwon killed his father, or if there is something deeper going on.)
3.Jinwoo’s past (I want to know more about his sick mother in the hospital and the black cat.)
4.The origin of the zombies (This is the most suspicious aspect of the story for me, and I want to understand why the world started to decay after the emergence of zombies who do not harm people.)
So far, I’m enjoying the story mainly because of the mysteries I can’t figure out—it’s incredibly interesting to me. I don’t have any bias toward the characters, as I’m just enjoying the story as it unfolds.
I’m curious to see how everything will end.
Feel free to share your thoughts if there’s anything I might have overlooked. However, I’d prefer open-minded discussion, so please avoid being aggressive.
Yes, I do think that’s a possibility too.
Guwon said he didn’t lie to Jinwoo, so there’s still a chance he didn’t kill Jinwoo’s father at all. It’s possible that Guwon thought Jinwoo had regained his memories and already knew he wasn’t the one who killed his dad. Because of that, he might have acted casually, saying things like, “I was keeping it a secret for a surprise.”
However, since his statements were unclear, Jinwoo could have easily assumed that Guwon actually killed his dad and even formed false memories on his own. This kind of vague explanation is easy to misinterpret.
Guwon should have clearly stated whether he killed Jinwoo’s father or not, instead of giving confusing explanations about keeping it a secret for a surprise.
Still, this is just a theory—Guwon could have actually killed his dad as well, especially considering what he has done to other people.

So her mom is the problem
And how did you come to that conclusion
Because her mom is a sadist and beat that man up, he’s covered in bruises in the current flashback. And she wants to role-play family and be fucked by a guy her age
mf still asking that after the latest chp like
Well said, mate. I was about to swear at them too.
her daughter’s age*
I wasn't talking to you to a##
And how are you sure she was the one who hit him, you also see from the flashback the place he's working at was also assaulting him because he refused to sleep with the client and so what if the guy is old enough to be her son, you won't see all this if it was a man in her place, you guys should stop your double strandeds and hear from the other side before you conclude
You don’t get it because you’re dumb, and I don’t care enough to explain it anymore.
I wasn't ask for your dumb idea and I can see your color is 5 so bye Beyoncé
