What was the mother planning by bringing this guy home? Was he supposed to be some useful tool to help her daughter succeed the company after her death or something? Maybe she wanted a father figure to shield her daughter from shady men or greedy relatives? Or did she think her daughter was lonely without a father?
But seriously, was it really necessary for her to sleep with a guy who’s basically the same age as her daughter? Especially when she knew her daughter used to toy with him when they were little and might even have feelings for him?
Maybe the mother knew the boy also liked her daughter and would stay loyal to her and support her in the future.
The mother is disgusting, honestly. And the ML is pathetic too, begging an older woman not to abandon him just to solve his debt problems. The least he could do is stay loyal to the woman who paid off his debts, but instead he develops feelings for the MC? And even acts on them? Ugh…
The smut is good though.
Anyway, I’m mostly here to figure out what that old hag—who’s sleeping with a man young enough to be her son—is actually planning. Does she have a terminal illness or something?

Who the fuck is first love that died during a fire? His first wife, or Yeon’s mother, or Yeon? Before he met uke, he was like I am not into sodomy or whatever. This is confusing.
Why aren't they married if they are lovers? And why didn't uke ask his lover to marry him.
I came here from Claudine edits on TikTok, but I’ll pass—I read the comments, and creepy men are not my cup of tea.
Their current plan is to observe how the hounds operate so they can use the same techniques to collect supplies after they escape. They don’t think they can defeat Guwon or the hounds, so for now, their focus is on observing and escaping. The plan might change later, though.

Chapter 28 is really satisfying since the plot is progressing a lot. I wish both Jinwoo and Guwon luck. Jinwoo is going to become one of the hounds—I can’t believe I didn’t realize that earlier from the title of the webtoon. I guess this is where the plot thickens, and we’ll finally get to see the hounds, which are the central focus of the story, especially since the title is The Hounds of Sisyphus.
There are a few mysteries for me:
1.Guwon’s true identity (My guess is that he was a test subject for human immortality mentioned in the first chapter, although I’m not sure.)
2.Does Jinwoo really have reliable memories? (I wonder if the true cause of his killing intent toward Guwon during his sleepwalking is because he believes Guwon killed his father, or if there is something deeper going on.)
3.Jinwoo’s past (I want to know more about his sick mother in the hospital and the black cat.)
4.The origin of the zombies (This is the most suspicious aspect of the story for me, and I want to understand why the world started to decay after the emergence of zombies who do not harm people.)
So far, I’m enjoying the story mainly because of the mysteries I can’t figure out—it’s incredibly interesting to me. I don’t have any bias toward the characters, as I’m just enjoying the story as it unfolds.
I’m curious to see how everything will end.
Feel free to share your thoughts if there’s anything I might have overlooked. However, I’d prefer open-minded discussion, so please avoid being aggressive.
I am here for ml’s parents side story but I can’t find it.
This is the most heart-warming webtoon among all the things I have been reading this month.
Some novels/manga/manhwa/etc feel like rage bait...I feel like this is in the same category as those imbecile tiktokers who purposely mispronounce words or use products the wrong way to elicit a strong negative reaction from those who consume their content. This genre of manhwa feel like that but with more effort. Rather than a 2 minute video, it's a whole production to publish rage bait stories
I feel very sorry for the father that was killed.
I also kinda feel sad for Guwon, he was crying while killing the man.
Having to kill people is the reason for his dark circles.
If only he knew better ways to handle things.
Guys, who do you think is the uke — Cameron or Edger?
The reason why Seme got married and he didn’t take off his wedding ring even after divorce.
