People keep saying he loves her, but he quite clearly tried to kill her. First through suppressing her mana and quite possibly weakening her which did lead to her death and subsequent transmigrstion, then at the baptism, and God knows what he'd done if hades wasn't present afterwards.

the artist that adapted the novel is the problem not the author so its still possible that a new artist and studio could remake this but its highly unlikely
