Mkay basically I feel like it’s more so a metaphor for Jinwoo’s current mentality towards their relationship… everything is new, and uncertain. He doesn’t know what direction this may take him or the affect it could have on his life, but he’s made the decision to see this through and accept that risk. It feels like the past few chaps have been leading up to this, I don’t think it’s foreshadowing future events bc it’s from Jinwoo’s POV at current date and he doesn’t have any knowledge we don’t, in fact he has far less. Could be wrong ofc but that’s what the theme has been up until this point.

Of consistently asphyxiating someone you specifically want to remember something when that directly causes memory impairments… Logic as braindead as Jiwook will be by the end of this
