No not really. but i think the queen (her sister) died a few years ago, 2 years ago? leaving behind her infant son, the to be crown prince and her only child. Basically Harsen will instigate a rebellion and disown his son( to save him) and ercella will divorce harsen (mind you, they still love eachother). she leaves for her home country with her son and (the cure for her sickness, she’s treated like royalty there, cause she is) blablabla basically they say harsen was executed but he was secretly exiled and they have a baby and live happily ever after. and with her brother i think he wanted ercella to be head of the marquisate instead of his son so she would be a marchioness after her divorce or sum like that. anywayssss thats it. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I dont really remeber why but the dukedome vanished because they were disgraced and the marqusiate he had a family but he was apart of the rebellion, ercella brother so i dont know guess the same as the dukedom

He didn't investigate throughly on wat really happened to the mc's family when the mc is telling that those kids did it but when these criminals gets weeded out he suddenly acts all justice toward these criminals telling that he'll serve justice and suspects that the mc did it remembering that it might be revenge on wat happened years ago

How did the grandfather's children became like that? Was he a neglectful parent? He looks quite decent so I'm wondering how did his children become to that. At this point only the auntie and Gallahan grew up decently well in his children
I guess maybe being born into a rich noble family, a lot of them naturally become spoiled and greedy. I’m pretty sure the grandfather took care of them but they just became like that due to the fame and fortune, they didn’t have to work and everything is handed to them. Seeing as the MC’s dad and the aunt are the only nice one out of all of them
You would be surprised how shitty your family members can be when it's about money, land etc. My grandfather's brother want to take my grandfather 's house when my grandfather died.
