Honestly maybe the only way to do it in this kinda situation would be to approach the next time with "genuine curiosity", as in when she says stuff like that to be like "oh why do you think that?" and just keep questioning whatever she says and show the fallacies in her logic. But i would talk in a genuinely confused tone so she can't act like you'......   1 reply

I think in my country where it's not really a thing it was really surprising when i first learned about the concept. There's probably a stronger sense of individualism. I would make my nose thinner. I’m the only one in my family (that’s pretty big) who got my dads bigger nose so I don’t feel great about it (￣∇￣") It’s even the one thing I’d ever consider getting surgery on but personally I don’t think it’s worth it (for me) so I’m not so sure anymore.
