this story is so good, we've been blessed. You can see there's a lot of details that the author tried to put in, and i love every single one of them. I think there's a lot more of foreshadowing that could've been added but honestly, s3 is enjoyable for me.
i know this will have a happy ending, but gosh seeing all of this... it makes me wanna cry so bad.
holy shit, my man hyesung just can't take a break. Hyesung, don't forgive your mom, some people are just not meant to be forgiven especially when their in the wrong. The grandma literally came back into hyesung's life when she heard HE HAS THE MONEY? AND WELL OFF!? AND MARRY A WEALTHY MAN??
remember yall, if hyesung been living just like when we first met him, poor and unstable... the grandma would never come back to find him. He probably would've be living on the street with nowhere to go. And the grandma would be going on with her own life, with her new family without a care in the world.
okay yeah, the girl is fucking stupid. As much as i hate the fact that Guwon killed the doctor, killing Guwon is more stupid. Everything that Guwon said is true. You can't be bending the rules like that just for one person, when everyone's lives is at stake. The girl been living in the village with comfort of food and shelter. She doesn't realize that it's all thanks to Guwon and the hounds that they get the sources that they need. Even she herself said she wants peace even if it feels impossible. AND YES PEACE IN THIS KIND OF WORLD IS IMPOSSIBLE. If they want peace, the consequences will be suffering. There's always a sacrifice. Sacrificing the sources like food and medicine just to ensure everybody is alive and comfortable. And at some point there will not be enough of it for everybody and the place will turn into chaos.
Everything that the doctor said also makes sense with how if Guwon dies, everything is going to go wrong. But the plot is going into a direction that i never expected so im excited to see more crazy shit happening.
And honestly im not even mad at Guwon, at least he thinks ahead with what to do next instead of following with his emotions. Just saying this as a logical situation. If it's for survival, you gotta do what you gotta do man.
Absolute INSANE take. Guwon does not think ahead, he kills people for no reason at all, the logic thing would be exile for the people who do something wrong not murder. Also killing innocent people instead of just leaving them behind is crazy and stupid. Also idk about you but my family is way more important to me than my life and if someone like guwon killed them I would risk my life to take him out no matter what.
1. The girl did taken everything for granted. She has no right actually, to take over the village. Her idea is insane too, knowing Guwon and his Hounds definitely aren't something to easily die. She's too hot headed.
2. It's not really a sacrifice to not let the sick get the medicine and the need to get more food. It is a harsh reality to face because medicine and food are too precious to give to people who's not really contributed much for the village. Yes, morally this is wrong, but it's not a peaceful time where you can have everything and taken it for granted. It's an apocalypse where everything hard to obtain.
3. The Doctor has more sense than the girl despite him being mentally unstable. There isn't anything good can happen if Guwon die. Everything simply gonna be out of order. The girl really too naive for this. She has it easy and forgetting why she get to live with a proper house, proper meal, and protection in that village
4. Maybe you ain't worded that correctly, but Guwon definitely isn't thinking ahead or for the better of them all. He simply eliminate the un-needed or anything that can cause danger/break the peace in his village. He has a simple mindset:
Not need= DEATH
Needed= LIVE
5. Sadly YES. Guwon's practice of did work for that chaotic apocalypse era. This is a harsh kind of survival tho. Isn't the best one, but it works.
Wouldnt an exile put city at risk? The citizens know the weak spots on the town and they could group with other survivours and retaliate. Also showing too much mercy might make some people think that you're weak so they will try to undermine your authority.
Also isn't it a zombie world? In chap 0 it was said that the corpse has moved on its own, so maybe its safer to kill people do they wont become zombies
You hopefully don't seriously think public execution is ever a good idea under any circumstances right ?? The people hate guwon and basically all of them wish he was dead, that wouldn't have happened if he didn't kill the people and instead just left them. Also they don't respect him at all they're just scared of him so if there ever was an opening they would kill him asap. He could punish people in his town that actually commit crimes, not people who try to save a child's life
Where did I said they respect him? Ofc they fear him. He killed because they broke the towns rules, doesn't matter what the motive was. I never said it's a good thing. But it makes sense in a survival kind of story. Makes plot interesting as well.
Even if he didn't kill him himself, the hounds who see him as a god probably would, or he would loose his god like status and they would turn against him. We don't know much about them yet.

SPOILER!!!
Gah damn, 3rd time rereading this story and it still gives me the feels. Yall is this a safe space to say i love Lorkan. I don't want him as a partner, don't misunderstand, I just love his loser and toxic personality. All those years of MANIPULATING Ian and bro still loses to his big bro.
Some people said that the season 2 was too long/unimportant but i quite like it tbh. But i think the story would've been WAYY better if the author revealed it to us slowly for the flashbacks. Like Antidote or Reunion. But i supposed they want the flashback to be more clear for us readers.
STILL A 10/10 read for me. Gonna read this again for the 4th time soon.(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
