before i begin, i don’t think we as readers should forgive the ex-husband. he has clearly made mistakes and irreparable ones at that. however, i feel like he is actually trying to amend his ways. he does love her and when he was given a second chance, he is attempting to undo his errors. i think that she should heal and have a shot at a genuine relationship with the ML. however, i don’t know if killing the ex husband is really necessary - maybe they can just live apart? is that not an option??
Honestly it’s really conflicting me too. This is how you know the story is crazy good because people can’t seem to hate the villain lol. Idk if it’s just because his looks are my type, but I feel like he’s definitely changed as a person. I think in his first life, he valued only himself without thinking of the consequences it had on the people he loved. In his second life, he’s definitely changed. Not out of the kindness of his heart, but because of his obsessive drive to make sure lorena stays by him. Even though killing him might seem like an extreme option, let’s not forget that killing isn’t above him. Even if he was exiled, he’d def find another way to get back to her. (Sorry for the long rant I’m just super invested)
I don't understand. He killed her father, lied a lot of times to her, and even if he really didn't cheated a lot of times she was still hurt yet he didn't care. To the point she killed her self because she can't just take it anymore. Wym you can't hate the villain.

Because I dont..? I know people often take story characters as how they are. Aka their face values. It’s not often you get good complex characters like Lorena and valle. Don’t get me wrong, if you read my reply I’m def towards them killing valle but that doesn’t mean I just hate a character. For the most part, I think he was in love with Lorena, specially when he first met her. To him, it seemed like she hated being with him. As if she never loved him at all. Due to this, he’s committed crimes, killed her family, ruined her country, and, isolated her so she couldn’t depend on anyone else but him. But when we see Lorena’s side it wasn’t that she didn’t love him. It was that she did, so much so that she overlooked every red flag about him and decided to stick with him despite it all. Ofcourse I dont think she would have stayed if she knew what he did later on. But then you’re met with the question, what truly went wrong in their relationship? At the start, it seemed that Lorena wanted to marry him, but as soon as she left her family, she closed herself off to most people. She was in a place where people acted like she shouldn’t be. She wasn’t a noble yet she was married to a duke. Her husband’s chamberlain taunted and abused her mentally. Her bestfriend lied to her and enjoyed in her sufferings. Even the emperor treated her as just a pawn for their plans. Anyways, what I’m getting at here is that she’s lived an unfortunate life. Not just because she got a shitty husband, but because the story has made it so that everyone was against her. Yes she killed herself mainly because she wanted revenge against her husband, but it was also because all of the things she’s endured has finally made her reach her limit. Lorena already stated that she could only find solace only when they shared a bed together. To me it seems the truth was just the tipping point of it all. (Sorry for the longer rant, I just really like this story)
The reason why they’re thinking of killing the husband is because they know what kind of guy he is. He can change how he appears and acts on the outside but behind the scenes and deep down he won’t change. He’s already proven that all the way up to the latest chapter. He was ready to snap as soon as she didn’t follow what he wanted in the latest chapter. He was literally hunting down the ML, ordering ppl to find him just that day, ready to murder the ML. He is not satisfied without having the FL in his hands.
They will never be safe, not until he’s dead. The past life has proven he will kill to get what he wants.
I’m more surprised that you don’t see that he’s only shallowly showing he’s changing. Despite the author showing several scenes of him revealing his actual dark feelings and pushing her boundaries.

No I def see it. Clearly his aim is only one thing. The only reason I didn’t talk about it was because I thought it was obvious xddd. I’m more stating how she never truly had anyone by her side, regardless of her husband being a pos or not. Like I said in my first comment, I’m pro killing the guy. I just like to look deeper in stories like this.

I understand what you mean about Valle being a complex character, and I agree that complex villains can still have depth and emotions. But personally, I don’t think that complexity makes him someone I can’t hate.
At the end of the day, he still killed her father, lied to her multiple times, manipulated her, and continuously hurt her emotionally. Even if he truly loved her in his own way, his actions still destroyed Lorena mentally and emotionally. Love doesn’t excuse abuse.
What makes it harder for me to sympathize with him is that Lorena clearly suffered to the point where she could no longer endure it and eventually took her own life. Whether or not he intended for things to end that way, he still played a major role in her downfall.
I do think he’s a well-written character, but for me, being well-written and being hateable are two different things. A villain can be complex and still deserve criticism for the harm they caused.
nevermind i just saw the stuff about IDF propaganda… flew under my radar fr dilucs manboob
Krav Maga has been around for a long time now. And whether you like it or not it IS generally used in military grade training alongside others. The author isn't glazing anyone. They're just using what is real.
