I agree with you but other readers like Jinx so much that they hate on other manhwas with literally the same plot. Jinx is seriously so overrated that even I who doesn't read it know the plot because of all the people who post about it. I'm so sick of it now. They post just anything of its every update. My fellow manga reader, I read Jinx because I have to know how that godawful train wreck ends - I need to see what deus ex machina the author pulls out of their ass to make that sumbitch seme worthy of being labelled a human being, and I pray to the manga gods that the uke doesn't end up with that abusive POS (but I know he will). No one should aspire to write a story like Jinx, unless it intends to be a tragedy of tropes and pain. The art is nice though. As for this story, the art is nice, the plot is at least halfway believable, and both the lovers act like real people. This story is so much better than Jinx.
I also don't read jinx too. But it's so hard to avoid cause it's everywhere. Even people that don't read BL are reading jinx and using it as a template for every yaoi which is honestly an insult. The only reason jinx is popular is because of the success of BJ alex, the art and the train wreck that is the plot. People comparing this to jinx should just stick to reading jinx. This and jinx are totally different.

Fun fact for the day, the author of this manhwa actually has another novel that I hope gets a manhwa adaptation. It's the same universe and in another kingdom. It's illegitimate alpha prince X reborn beta prince. Its alpha x beta romance. And thankfully, the MC doesn't magically turn into an omega(￣∇￣"). It's honestly so good. I hope it also gets adapted to a manhwa cause the chemistry is chef's kiss and the DRAMA is to die for(≧∀≦)
Honestly, this manhwa is such a waste of potential. The OG sihyeon is so much cooler and interesting as a character in my opinion. To be honest, OG sihyeon definitely doesn't deserve to be replaced. The story could have him just go back in time and get revenge on those that wronged him and massively avoid those that could set him up. And also be there for his sister in the process. That would have been a real good storyline instead of having someone else replace him after all he's been through. And the black haired cool dude in the group ( forgot his name fo a sec) could be the ML cause they had a good chemistry even before his death. Far more than the current CP in my opinions. The story would have been more interesting and way more entertaining
