i just hate that the author author took like 70+ chapters to start working on his character, like why not establish in the 20 first chapters that J is a dusche and then use all the 40+ chapters to have a realistic shaky but overall progresing character development arc
u're yelling me after abusing Dan for 90% of the story, 7 or so chapters were enough for him to gain selfconciousness, selfjudgment and an ability to apologize???
i get it but it also kept a lot of people invested and coming back FOR said arc, we got it so just be appreciative :P they gotta make money too

i am not suprised 'cause it's something every toxic bl does, but i am still disappointed- did we REALLY had to have the victim downplay the abuse and his own trauma and say how the abuser "doesn't need to feel that guilty"? he should feel guilty! he should feel horrible!
he's never gonna served justice, experience any consequences like a prison sentance for his horrible behavior nor is he ever experience the amount of pain he put Dan through! the very least he could do is feel bad about it
It's a shame, really. Author is insulting Kim Dan's character. Make him suffer only, and in the end, still make him comfort his abuser. Backtrack everything he went through and rewrite history with "I liked it too" or whatever. Jaegay is clearly Author's favorite.
What did we expect from an author like this? Just look at his/her past work. Very disappointing.

my thoughts exactlyyyy. this had potential but maybe i should've expected this since it's the same author of bj alex after all. i was just hoping dan would be an mc with a little more self-respect but tbh atp he might be worse than her previous mc ugh
The most disturbing thing about it, is how it's not an issue specific to just this author. SO MANY bl stories start or include sa/ea at the begging of their story, dismiss the trauma of it to then have the victim downplay it. (at that point why not just make it consensual?)
The past couple chapter were especially weird 'cause the author showed how Dan is still traumatized from the ex-doctor, but then had Dan claimed how he's already over the much more worse stuff JK did???
And when JK finally "realizes" how he's no better (if not worse) than that ex-doctor, the author has THE VICTIM of all people jump to his defense?! It could have been a great emotional scene, where we show JK change in perspective, let him wallow in regret and discuss, acknowledge Dan's tauma (he should have had after what he's been through) and explore Dan's complex feelings of denial, affection, shame, fear and etc
But no, we had to immanently jump into a s*x scene
And then you have the kids in the comments section that get defensive as soon as you critique/discuss the plot, not being able to understand you can write & consume media with unethical topics and criticise how the story handled them
