In Viet, we have a saying that captures this - where you use the word "remember" to mean miss/longing/love
There's so much to praise about this, both to the author and artist. I especially loved all the details in simple scenes, such as the tree MC clutched onto in the rain leaving residue and when ML was holding MC for the first time and see the indents and pressure of his hand holding his thigh. So beautiful.
I dont think its that bizarre that Donald died. All the chapters leading up expressed how much he wished he could be removed but how could he after all his success and achievement- with all those people looking at him as their great wall.
Even his 2nd hand man couldnt accept the end which we see him continue to drag Donald's name even after his death by continuing The Union.
As much as he pleaded for Gray to help him, he knew himself that the point of return was far gone and thats why he could only wish of becoming Gray's friend earlier and avoiding the path of destruction as his only way to survive.
Also, I started with the webtoon very early kn and caught up with the kdrama and I love both medias in their own regard. Its often impossible for adaptions to convey everything 1:1 and it does frustrate me at times when comparing the two, but I accept it is its own version. I liked how they built out and focused more on Gray and Stephen + the actors added a lot and really hooked me in!
I do think its disrespectful to trash talk the webtoon just because you prefer the kdrama because you dont realize the story was developed so many years earlier and stemed from their own creativity. I understand if the webtoon isnt as palatable or not your forte, but have some respect and appreciation for the source which created the newer thing you enjoy.
Idk why, but Gyuyoung in a bloomers version of her dress is so cute!! It kept everything about the cute roundness, but adapted it!!

You're telling me I read thru all the chapters only to find out I was one chapter too early of their reunion
I was honestly happily surprised at all of the ML reactions and how he always directly handled things. Sure it took him a bit to figure out his feelings but it was on par with his personality and he owned up to it after - super refreshing and I loved it.
A part of me hopes in the future, MC would grow to be larger in stature compared to the ML and MC could pamper ML as the seme, since ML had always been eldest and most responsible all the time.
Lastly, it was kinda sad to see at one point the crazy dude tried but was neglected/abused at home. He definitely needs mental help and it doesn't excuse all his horrible antics - just sad to see he didn't receive any help. I still dislike him ofc
I think the author likes the evil father bc why is he drawn so much better and actually have a defined nose

Im super glad I read this instead of getting a little nervous with the horror! The characters are so interesting and two sharp and witty MCs are just my type
I get everyone's mad about the side stories being about the mcs but I like it. We get to see more of their dynamic without having to progress towards something. Also, I hate when authors smash side characters together just bc its the end of the series
